comment on [Question] does carrier choice matter more than origin city in c/intlshipping · 6 points · 5 days ago
This.
Adding the field everyone forgets — the month. Without it the report is not comparable to anything.
comment on the mean transit time is useless, the 90th percentile is what melts your pack in c/intlshipping · 46 points · 8 days ago
Same lane, four orders, 15 to 15 days, all four within a couple of days of the quote. That consistency is the actual finding.
comment on reflux got worse for three weeks then better than baseline in c/sideeffects · 3 points · 9 days ago
Agreed on writing it down. I could not see the pattern until I had six weeks of it on one page.
comment on [Discussion] every answer here is jurisdiction-specific and we keep forgetting in c/customs · 2 points · 13 days ago
Nothing on this board is legal advice. Where a notice carries a deadline or a consequence, that is a matter for somebody qualified in your own jurisdiction.
comment on [Question] does anyone actually feel "done" or is that not a thing in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 14 days ago
maintenance is a phase, not a finish line
comment on [Data] packaging quality by vendor, scored on five things, 60 shipments in c/intlshipping · 4 points · 22 days ago
The rigid outer with no rattle in it was the thing that told me most about that supplier, before I had tested anything.
comment on my gallbladder came out at month 7 and i would still do it again in c/sideeffects · 15 points · 22 days ago
Same pattern here. It settled at a stable dose without me doing anything clever.
comment on anyone else notice hair loss kicking in around week 21 in c/sideeffects · 4 points · 1 months ago
reflux at night, try not eating in the three hours before bed
comment on [Meta] the goal weight rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/maintenancephase · 29 points · 1 months ago
maintenance is a phase, not a finish line
comment on shipping — 24 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/intlshipping · 18 points · 1 months ago
Packaging is assessable on arrival with no equipment: rigid outer, no movement inside, the cold element sized to the transit rather than to the box.
comment on hair loss: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/sideeffects · 736 points · 2 months ago
A symptom that begins the day after the shot and fades by day four tracks the exposure curve. One that appears at random in week 85 probably does not, and that is worth saying to a clinician rather than to us.
comment on week 73 check-in — 28kg down, early fullness manageable, one thing confusing me in c/sideeffects · 11 points · 2 months ago
Is it every week or did it start at a particular dose?
comment on [Meta] the customs rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/customs · 1 points · 3 months ago
Right, and clearance time is not carrier time. Blaming the shipper for a customs queue is a category error.
comment on [Meta] the customs rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/customs · 1 points · 3 months ago
That is a question for somebody qualified where you live, not for a ranked feed.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for lowest effective dose posts in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 4 months ago
Chased the last three kilos with a dose increase and got a fortnight of food noise and no change in the number.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about EMS until somebody posts a number in c/intlshipping · 268 points · 4 months ago
The rigid outer with no rattle in it was the thing that told me most about that supplier, before I had tested anything.
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about maintenance in c/maintenancephase · 4 points · 4 months ago
Stretched from seven to ten days and then to twelve over about four months. Appetite told me where the limit was before the scale did.
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about maintenance in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 4 months ago
Wrote down what maintenance would look like at about week 95, before I needed it. Having decided in advance made the transition boring.
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about maintenance in c/maintenancephase · 26 points · 4 months ago
Stretching the interval, reducing the dose, or both?
comment on anyone else notice constipation kicking in around week 7 in c/sideeffects · 12 points · 4 months ago
fibre and water before you buy anything to fix it
comment on [Discussion] the declared value advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/customs · 2 points · 4 months ago
the answer for Spain does not apply anywhere else
comment on carrier — 23 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/intlshipping · 50 points · 5 months ago
Split one order across two months on purpose to compare summer and winter. Four days apart, same carrier, same route.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about goal weight until somebody posts a number in c/maintenancephase · 37 points · 5 months ago
Weigh monthly now. Best change I made in the whole run and it cost nothing.
comment on [Question] EMS — what am I missing here in c/intlshipping · 12 points · 5 months ago
What was the packaging like on arrival?
comment on [Question] EMS — what am I missing here in c/intlshipping · 153 points · 5 months ago
Four observations is not a distribution. The lane tables here only became predictive once individual routes had a dozen or more reports behind them.
Genuine question, and the title is the question: EMS — what am I missing here. Posted my first lane report here without the month and got asked for it. Fair, and the…
comment on the jurisdiction thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/customs · 9 points · 5 months ago
Ordered from the warehouse in Australia and the whole import question disappeared. 12 days, domestic, no notice, nothing to manage.
comment on reading sulphur burps threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/sideeffects · 36 points · 5 months ago
the food noise that arrives at week 52 out of nowhere is usually something else
comment on small win: maintenance stopped being a problem at week 92 in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 5 months ago
That is a range, not a trend. Two weigh-ins 16 days apart cannot distinguish them.
comment on [Meta] the gallbladder rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/sideeffects · 164 points · 6 months ago
eating slower does more than most of the supplements people recommend
comment on [Meta] the import rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/customs · 22 points · 6 months ago
Agreed on asking what documentation accompanies a shipment. Suppliers who ship regionally usually have a clear answer.
comment on small win: goal weight stopped being a problem at week 19 in c/maintenancephase · 12 points · 6 months ago
monthly weigh-ins are enough at this stage
comment on personal import — 8 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/customs · 14 points · 7 months ago
clearance time is not carrier time
comment on [Discussion] the lane advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/intlshipping · 278 points · 7 months ago
Four observations is not a distribution. The lane tables here only became predictive once individual routes had a dozen or more reports behind them.
comment on small win: nausea stopped being a problem at week 35 in c/sideeffects · 2 points · 10 months ago
hair shedding follows the weight loss, not the drug, and it stops
comment on switched from 1.0mg to 2.4mg and fatigue got better, not worse in c/sideeffects · 64 points · 10 months ago
Disagree. Severe abdominal pain is not on the list of things to wait out, and this board should not be treating it as one.
comment on what changed for me between month 2 and month 9 in c/sideeffects · 1 points · 11 months ago
Keeping a log, and what to put in it.
Adding to this — holding the dose rather than stepping is the option people forget they have.
comment on [Question] lowest effective dose — what am I missing here in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 1 year ago
Interval stretching changes the exposure profile: with a week-long half-life, moving to ten or twelve days lowers trough concentration more than it lowers average exposure. That is why appetite return is often the first thing noticed.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify jurisdiction in c/customs · 2 points · 1 year ago
regional stock removes the question entirely
