comment on someone explain baseline labs to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/bloodwork · 19 points · 3 months ago
Right, and weight loss itself moves several markers, so attribution is harder than these threads assume.
comment on [Discussion] the log advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/dosinglogs · 1 points · 3 months ago
Choose a format you will still be able to open in two years.
This is the whole discipline in one line. Contemporaneous, consistent, minimal.

hair shedding follows the weight loss, not the drug, and it stops

resistance training first, cardio if there is time left
comment on [Meta] the log rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/dosinglogs · 4 points · 4 months ago
Contemporaneous records do not drift; reconstructed ones do, and the drift is systematic rather than random because memory smooths.
comment on the dose stretching thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/maintenancephase · 34 points · 4 months ago
appetite returns before the scale acknowledges anything
Agreed — and appetite is the leading indicator. The scale is the lagging one.

Removed a prescriptive nutrition target aimed at another member.
sarcopenia_watch is right that protein becomes a logistics problem when appetite drops.
comment on [Discussion] lowest effective dose is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/maintenancephase · 15 points · 6 months ago
Small fix — you have described interval stretching and called it a dose reduction. The exposure profiles differ.
comment on someone explain Canada to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/glp1canada · 19 points · 6 months ago
The three separate questions people ask here as though they were one.
Is it approved for sale — a national regulatory question with one answer. Is it covered — a provincial or private-plan question with many answers. Can I actually get this quantity dispensed — a quantity-limit question that is separate from coverage and stops as many people.
Say which of the three you are asking and name your province and plan type. Threads that do this get answered in two replies; threads that do not generate a page of people talking past each other, all of them correct about somewhere else.

Removed the specific recommendation. Describe your own experience here; do not tell another member what to take or what dose to be on.

Drifted up 4kg over a winter and panicked. It came back off without any change, which is apparently just what weight does.

I confused two very similar words on my first order and asked here, expecting to be mocked. Three people explained it properly instead.
