The title is the argument: the ranking question that gets asked weekly, answered properly. Here is the rest of it. A rule-change proposal needs replacement wording…

comment on nausea day 2 post-injection like clockwork, week 14, does it ever stop in c/sideeffects · 69 points · 2 days ago
Constipation is mostly reduced intake plus reduced fluid, not a direct effect. That is why the boring fibre and water answer keeps working.
comment on the glucagon arm is why the appetite effect feels different in c/retatrutide · 104 points · 4 days ago
Increases in heart rate have been reported across this receptor class. The magnitude and clinical significance are exactly what phase 3 is powered to establish.
comment on [Discussion] FFMI not weight, or you will celebrate losing muscle in c/glp1muscle · 9 points · 10 days ago
I would not change the programme on the strength of one scan. The measurement error is larger than the effect you are reacting to.
comment on how do i know if my dose is working in c/newbiequestions · 16 points · 13 days ago
Bacteriostatic water contains a preservative, which is what makes repeated entry into a vial reasonable. Sterile water does not, and the two are not interchangeable for that purpose.
comment on is it bad that i am not nauseous at all in c/newbiequestions · 31 points · 17 days ago
That is area percent from a certificate, not the amount of peptide in the vial. Two different numbers and a very common mix-up.
comment on everyone here has a spreadsheet, do i need a spreadsheet in c/newbiequestions · 4 points · 23 days ago
ask the dumb question, three other people are searching for it
comment on [Appeal] the modmail-first policy and why it exists in c/meta · 6 points · 24 days ago
Is this about a policy or about an individual removal?
comment on someone explain protein to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/glp1muscle · -34 points · 27 days ago
What is protein intake actually looking like, measured rather than estimated?
comment on the normal thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/newbiequestions · 1 points · 1 months ago

comment on small win: dose escalation stopped being a problem at week 55 in c/retatrutide · -5 points · 1 months ago
Yes — the comparison threads are apples to oranges and they generate more heat than anything else here.
comment on normal is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/newbiequestions · 11 points · 1 months ago
Nothing on this board is medical advice, and the people answering you — including me — are members with spreadsheets rather than clinicians.
comment on week 73 check-in — 28kg down, early fullness manageable, one thing confusing me in c/sideeffects · 250 points · 2 months ago
Hair shedding after significant weight loss is a telogen effect that follows the rate of loss. It is not specific to these compounds and it resolves.
comment on week 73 check-in — 28kg down, early fullness manageable, one thing confusing me in c/sideeffects · 198 points · 2 months ago
Reflux was the one that got me. Stopped eating in the three hours before bed and it went from nightly to almost never.
comment on reading protein threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1muscle · 1 points · 2 months ago
DEXA has a real error margin and people quote it to one decimal
comment on reading protein threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1muscle · 72 points · 2 months ago
Some lean mass loss accompanies weight loss in any deficit. Resistance training and adequate protein intake are the two interventions with the best evidence for limiting the proportion.
comment on triple agonist: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/retatrutide · 301 points · 3 months ago
Agreed on the heart-rate reports. They are consistent enough across the threads to be worth noting, not enough to be a finding.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about normal until somebody posts a number in c/newbiequestions · 69 points · 3 months ago
Week 12 for me was completely flat and I was convinced something was wrong. It was not. Month two was where everything happened.
comment on constipation: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/sideeffects · 1 points · 3 months ago
What is intake actually looking like — fibre and water especially?
comment on anyone else notice what is kicking in around week 47 in c/newbiequestions · 19 points · 3 months ago
Right, and writing the concentration on the vial is the single best habit anyone here can start with.
comment on hair loss — my 8-week log, condensed into one table in c/sideeffects · 8 points · 4 months ago
Yes — the day-two-to-day-four window is so consistent across this board that it is almost diagnostic.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify moderation in c/meta · 9 points · 4 months ago
Proposed a rule change here with actual wording and it was adopted. That is the process working and it is not fast.
comment on my ApoB moved and I cannot work out whether beginner is why in c/newbiequestions · 39 points · 5 months ago
Cosigning the wiki point, and also: ask anyway. The wiki cannot tell you it understood your question.
comment on stalled for 23 weeks at 10mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/newbiequestions · -22 points · 5 months ago
Which country? Half the answers here only apply in one place.
comment on [Lab] WXT reta — PeptideMeter came back 97.1% against a claimed 97.0% in c/retatrutide · 101 points · 5 months ago
Watched heart rate on a wearable across twelve weeks because the threads said to. It moved a little and I have no idea whether that means anything.
stalled for 23 weeks at 10mg and I refuse to panic this time, and I am aware this is a minority view on this board. The numbers the title promised, since a headline…
comment on help me understand lean mass, I have read the wiki twice in c/glp1muscle · 5 points · 6 months ago
DEXA has a meaningful coefficient of variation, and it differs between machines and protocols. Comparing scans from different clinics adds a systematic offset that is invisible on the report.
week 32 check-in — 9kg down, early fullness manageable, one thing confusing me, logged the same way every week so the comparison is at least internally fair. Hard…
comment on tried week one for 18 weeks. here is what happened. in c/newbiequestions · 193 points · 6 months ago
Concentration is mass over volume, and a U-100 syringe reads 100 units per millilitre. Those two facts are the whole of the arithmetic this board keeps explaining.
comment on [PSA] DEXA is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/glp1muscle · 4 points · 7 months ago
Yes. Nobody here is prescribing training or nutrition and the good posts say so.
comment on switched from 1.0mg to 2.4mg and nausea got better, not worse in c/progresspics · 12 points · 7 months ago
What are you actually celebrating today? Genuine question.
comment on anyone else notice resistance training kicking in around week 92 in c/glp1muscle · 17 points · 8 months ago
Started weighing protein rather than estimating it. The gap between what I thought and what I ate was embarrassing.
comment on [Discussion] phase 2 is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/retatrutide · 12 points · 8 months ago
Phase 2 estimates effect and finds a dose range. Phase 3 estimates it precisely in a bigger population and catches what phase 2 was too small to see. Treating them as the same tier of evidence is the recurring error here.
comment on help me understand meta, I have read the wiki twice in c/meta · 76 points · 8 months ago
Submissions older than a year are archived: readable, linkable, and closed to new comments. That keeps a three-year-old thread from being reopened with a reply nobody will see in context.
comment on is it normal to get injection-site soreness at week 44 in c/sideeffects · 46 points · 8 months ago
the constipation that arrives at week 12 out of nowhere is usually something else
comment on [Discussion] first time is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/newbiequestions · 9 points · 8 months ago
bacteriostatic water has a preservative, sterile water does not
comment on [Discussion] first time is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/newbiequestions · 6 points · 8 months ago
Titration is a tolerance ladder. Each step exists so the gastrointestinal effects settle before the next increase, which is why the intervals are what they are.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify heart rate in c/sideeffects · 1 points · 8 months ago
The effect on gastric emptying is most pronounced early and attenuates with continued dosing, which is the mechanism behind the "it settles at a stable dose" pattern the whole board reports.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for beginner posts in c/newbiequestions · 12 points · 9 months ago
Gently disagree with the framing — nothing has gone wrong. Week 6 looking flat is the ordinary experience.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for struggle posts in c/progresspics · 1 points · 9 months ago
Correction: 18kg over 13 months is a different claim from 18kg in a month, and the post reads as the second.
