comment on [Delay] two weeks in a transit hub, then delivered fine in c/intlshipping · 0 points · 3 days ago

Four observations is not a distribution. The lane tables here only became predictive once individual routes had a dozen or more reports behind them.

comment on [Fees] paying $14 of gas to save 10% on a $90 order is not saving in c/cryptopay · 7 points · 4 days ago

Sent a test amount first on a large order. Cost me a fraction of a percent and I have done it every time since.

comment on [Trial Data] ATTAIN-1 numbers, and why the % is not the headline in c/orforglipron · 47 points · 4 days ago

Which programme and which readout are you quoting?

permalink

comment on [Failure] gel pack arrived liquid and warm. photos at unboxing. in c/coldchain · 1 points · 4 days ago

Correction: that stability figure covers the lyophilised powder, not the reconstituted solution. Different claim entirely.

Origin, destination, carrier and month?

two identical orders a week apart is the cheapest experiment available

comment on [Explainer] the crypto discount is real and so is losing chargeback rights in c/cryptopay · 125 points · 9 days ago

Asked which networks KP accepted before ordering and picked the cheapest one at that hour. Saved more than the difference in price.

comment on [Below Spec] 61.2% on a vial that shipped with a 99% COA in c/labresults · 1 points · 9 days ago

This. The trend across separate lots is the number that tells you about a process rather than a vial.

permalink

comment on [Question] vendor says paid, chain says confirmed, nobody shipped. now what in c/cryptopay · 7 points · 11 days ago

Sent a test amount first on a large order. Cost me a fraction of a percent and I have done it every time since.

comment on [PeptideMeter] QSC tirz — 97.1%, second sample from the same batch in c/labresults · 0 points · 13 days ago

Did the vial lot match the paperwork lot?

Disagreeing with this line: that gap is ordinary variance, not a contradiction between the lab and the certificate.

comment on freezing reconstituted product: why the answer is no in c/coldchain · 46 points · 17 days ago

Correction: that stability figure covers the lyophilised powder, not the reconstituted solution. Different claim entirely.

comment on [Question] hair shedding — is it the drug or the deficit in c/glp1women · 43 points · 18 days ago

Fertility can change with weight loss and improved insulin sensitivity. That is a well-described phenomenon and worth knowing about in advance rather than discovering.

comment on [Data] packaging quality by vendor, scored on five things, 60 shipments in c/intlshipping · 47 points · 23 days ago

Median transit is the useful statistic. The minimum is a story about one shipment and the mean is dragged around by a single hold.

permalink

comment on [Below Spec] 88% is not "basically fine" and i am tired of that reply in c/labresults · 0 points · 23 days ago

Inter-lab variance on this assay runs roughly a point either way, driven mostly by gradient and integration.

Adding the boring but useful bit: say whether you paid for it. It is the basis of the whole log.

comment on [Appeal] the modmail-first policy and why it exists in c/meta · 4 points · 25 days ago

Yes. Nobody here is paid and the disclosure page says so in tedious detail, which is the correct level of tedious.

permalink

comment on [Medutest] SWB sema — 98.2%, cold chain intact, 9 days transit in c/labresults · 4 points · 1 months ago

Small fix — same supplier, different lot.

This is why the template has a batch field. Without it the result is about a vial nobody can identify.

permalink

comment on [Lab] four vendors, same compound, same week, one test each in c/labresults · 10 points · 1 months ago

Agreed — the template exists because a result without the batch and the claim is unanchored.

permalink

comment on help me understand oral GLP-1, I have read the wiki twice in c/orforglipron · 12 points · 1 months ago

the boards keep comparing it to injectables at matched doses, which is meaningless

comment on reading gas fees threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/cryptopay · 1 points · 1 months ago

Confirmation took forty minutes on a busy evening and I had already written half an angry message. Deleted it.

permalink

comment on [Lab] four vendors, same compound, same week, one test each in c/labresults · 84 points · 1 months ago

The template is vendor, compound, batch, service, claim, result, and who paid. Every one of those fields exists because a result missing it has been argued about here before.

permalink

comment on reading gas fees threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/cryptopay · 5 points · 1 months ago

This. A test transaction on a large order costs a fraction of the fee and removes the whole class of risk.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] cold chain is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/coldchain · 7 points · 1 months ago

transit temperature is a distribution, not a number

permalink

comment on how much of what we believe about MHRA actually comes from NHS threads in c/glp1uk · 53 points · 1 months ago

Pharmacy pricing on a private prescription is set by the pharmacy. The spread between them in a given month is routinely substantial, which is why a tracker built from member reports is more useful than any headline.

Milligram-for-milligram comparison with an injectable peptide is not meaningful and I should not have made it.

Anything involving pregnancy, contraception efficacy or fertility planning belongs with a clinician. That is not a disclaimer, it is where the answers actually are.

comment on [PSA] cold chain is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/coldchain · 0 points · 2 months ago

Put a logger in three consecutive orders.

This is the distinction that resolves most threads here — powder and solution are different problems.

permalink

Not convinced. That fee is the network fee at that hour, and it has nothing to do with the supplier.

Careful. "The cold chain failed" is a strong claim and the evidence you have is a warm box.
