comment on [Sceptic] every new three-letter analog needs a data table before a hype thread in c/researchpeptides · 2 points · 1 days ago

the same name covers several different molecules in this space

handling and storage vary enormously across this catalogue

comment on [Question] resting heart rate up 7bpm, week 6, is that a thing in c/sideeffects · 20 points · 7 days ago

Careful with the supplement recommendation. There is no evidence for it here and the mechanism you are proposing does not hold.

comment on [Question] A1c 5.6 but CGM says otherwise. which do i believe. in c/t2dglp1 · 5 points · 13 days ago

My hs-CRP moved and it turned out to have nothing to do with glucose at all.

comment on sulphur burps: a taxonomy, a timeline, and my sincere apologies to my flatmate in c/sideeffects · 13 points · 15 days ago

Severe, or unpleasant? They are genuinely different questions and the answers diverge.

Correcting my own comment above: I said day three and my log says day two. Same pattern, wrong day.

comment on [Vendor] JEEP six orders in, zero problems, and i am suspicious of my own luck in c/vendorvetting · 0 points · 19 days ago

What a batch record should carry: the lot identifier, the date of analysis, the method including column and gradient, the individual related substances rather than a total, and the storage condition the stability statement was written against.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] we underplay how much of the GI stuff is dose-escalation speed in c/sideeffects · 3 points · 25 days ago

Pushback: you changed the dose, the meal timing and the training in the same fortnight, so the attribution is guesswork.

permalink

comment on [Needs Source] "lab tested" with no lab named is not a claim in c/vendorvetting · 1 points · 1 months ago

Careful. "Nobody has tested Amino Asylum" is a statement about this board, not about the supplier. Say the first thing, not the second.

comment on small win: titration stopped being a problem at week 58 in c/semaglutide · 1 points · 1 months ago

Are you measuring anything other than weight? Waist is usually the one that keeps moving.

permalink

comment on small win: titration stopped being a problem at week 58 in c/semaglutide · -20 points · 1 months ago

Steady state after a dose change takes four to five half-lives, so the fair judgement point on a new step is about a month, not four days.

iman_castellanos is describing the standard shape here and it matches the trial data better than most anecdotes do.

permalink

comment on [Vendor] CPC vs MKM on the same compound, same month — both cleared 97.5% in c/semaglutide · 7 points · 2 months ago

The weekly interval comes out of the half-life — roughly a week — so you are on a smooth curve rather than a series of spikes. That is also why moving your day slightly does very little.

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify TB-500 in c/researchpeptides · 8 points · 2 months ago

Right — GL Biochem answered a handling question with actual storage conditions rather than a generic line, which is the standard.

permalink

comment on [PSA] Ozempic is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/semaglutide · 1 points · 3 months ago

Minor fix — the half-life is about a week, not about a day. The rest of your point stands.

permalink

comment on genuine question about TB-500 that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/researchpeptides · 16 points · 3 months ago

I would not treat catalogue breadth as a quality signal. It is a business decision, not an analytical one.

protein first, then everything else gets easier

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify A1c in c/t2dglp1 · 6 points · 5 months ago

Yes — the person managing your diabetes is the one to talk to, and this board is explicit about that.

permalink

comment on how much of what we believe about TB-500 actually comes from research peptides threads in c/researchpeptides · 12 points · 6 months ago

Purity methods differ by compound class.

rekha_mbeki is right that a purity figure without a method is not comparable to one with a method.

comment on [Meta] the gallbladder rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/sideeffects · 27 points · 6 months ago

Which day of the week relative to the shot does it hit?

permalink

comment on [Question] is 98.0% actually fine or am I being sold a rounding error in c/vendorvetting · 12 points · 6 months ago

Disagree that reviews are worthless.

Agreed — and the corollary is that "no data" and "bad data" have to be written differently. The table separates them for exactly that reason.

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about glycaemic control in c/t2dglp1 · 10 points · 7 months ago

CGM shows you the shape, A1c shows you the area

permalink

comment on help me understand order records, I have read the wiki twice in c/vendorvetting · -8 points · 7 months ago

Started buying small deliberately, tested every lot for the first four, then stopped testing every lot because there was nothing to find.

permalink

comment on [Results] 83 weeks, 13kg, and CGM was the hard part in c/t2dglp1 · 492 points · 7 months ago

Postprandial excursions typically respond earlier than fasting glucose, so the sequence people observe is not a sign that something is not working.

permalink

comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for 2.4mg posts in c/semaglutide · 31 points · 7 months ago

The appetite thing was the surprise. I expected to feel full. What I got was simply not thinking about food between meals.

permalink

comment on stalled for 22 weeks at 0.5mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/semaglutide · 8 points · 7 months ago

Weight change and appetite change are different endpoints on different timescales. Conflating them is where most of the confusion on this board starts.

permalink

comment on is it normal to get injection-site soreness at week 44 in c/sideeffects · 14 points · 8 months ago

the food noise going quiet is the effect people came for, and reflux is the toll for the first fortnight

permalink

I would not compare your numbers to that population. Different baseline, different regimen, different trial.

permalink

comment on genuine question about Medutest that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/vendorvetting · 277 points · 9 months ago

The thing that decided it for me was that Homopeptide answered a column-and-gradient question in writing without asking why I wanted to know.

comment on VendorInvestigate — 17 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/vendorvetting · 1 points · 11 months ago

Eternal Peptides came up in three threads the week I was ordering and I could not find a single independent result for them anywhere. Went with a documented supplier instead.

permalink

comment on sulphur burps: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/sideeffects · 0 points · 11 months ago

Held the dose for an extra six weeks instead of stepping.

Disagreeing with this one line: that symptom is not on the wait-and-see list and should not be posted as though it is.

permalink

comment on [Meta] the glycaemic control rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/t2dglp1 · 70 points · 11 months ago

Did you ask for the batch-specific certificate, or the generic one?

the lot on the vial has to match the lot on the certificate, every time

Which day of the week relative to the shot does it hit?

This is the shape almost everybody here describes, and it is the single most reassuring thing in the thread.
