comment on [Fees] paying $14 of gas to save 10% on a $90 order is not saving in c/cryptopay · 2 points · 2 days ago

Wallet address redacted from the post above.

chain_confirm_c is right about confirmations. "Sent" is not a status.

comment on [Training] three full-body sessions a week through the whole cut in c/glp1muscle · 5 points · 4 days ago

Cosigning that protein gets harder precisely when appetite drops. That is the actual difficulty and it is logistical.

comment on [Discussion] small community, high signal, let us keep it that way in c/survodutide · 1 points · 10 days ago

the titration in the trials was slow and deliberate

permalink

comment on [Regain] appetite came back over five weeks, here is the timeline in c/tapering · 21 points · 12 days ago

Withdrawal studies across this class consistently show substantial regain after discontinuation, with appetite typically returning before weight changes. That is a description of the pharmacology of a chronic condition.

comment on [Discussion] we should require batch numbers in every vendor post title in c/vendorvetting · 5 points · 15 days ago

Removed pending evidence.

Would qualify this slightly. Fewer entries means less sampling, and less sampling is not the same as a worse process.

comment on [Question] creatine while eating 1,400 calories — worth it in c/glp1muscle · 1 points · 18 days ago

Not convinced by that DEXA comparison. Different machine, different protocol, and the difference is inside the error.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] the sarcopenia question nobody funded properly in c/glp1muscle · 20 points · 22 days ago

DEXA has a meaningful coefficient of variation, and it differs between machines and protocols. Comparing scans from different clinics adds a systematic offset that is invisible on the report.

A token symbol identifies an asset, not a network. The same symbol commonly exists on several chains with incompatible address formats, and sending across that boundary is generally unrecoverable.

comment on [Results] two years, and the second year mattered more than the first in c/progresspics · 2 points · 1 months ago

Circumference measurements often continue changing during a scale plateau because composition changes are not visible on a bathroom scale.

What does the tolerability table say at that dose?

a single DEXA is a number, two is a comparison, three is a trend

comment on [Discussion] sarcopenia is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/glp1muscle · 6 points · 1 months ago

This. Same machine, same protocol, or the DEXA comparison is measuring the scanner.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] the FFMI advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/glp1muscle · 4 points · 1 months ago

Are you comparing against your own baseline or against a published average?

permalink

comment on [Meta] the vendor rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/vendorvetting · 25 points · 2 months ago

This. Ask for the batch record. The ones who send it inside a day have told you more than any review could.

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring appetite at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/glp1science · 53 points · 2 months ago

Asked for a citation rather than removing.

This is the concept everything else on this board is downstream of.

permalink

comment on incretin: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/glp1science · 8 points · 2 months ago

Tolerance to the gastric effect develops with continued exposure while the appetite effect largely persists. That single fact explains most of the "it settles but it still works" pattern the side-effect board reports.

comment on [PSA] Medutest results are area% by default and people keep forgetting in c/vendorvetting · 194 points · 2 months ago

What a batch record should carry: the lot identifier, the date of analysis, the method including column and gradient, the individual related substance

Adding the practical version: ask for lead time, minimum quantity and the batch record in the same message. Three answers, one email.

comment on [Discussion] hepatic fat is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/survodutide · 30 points · 3 months ago

That figure is from the obesity programme, and this thread is about the hepatic one.

comment on [Lab] MKM tirz — Medutest came back 97.8% against a claimed 97.0% in c/vendorvetting · 3 points · 3 months ago

I would separate documentation from logistics. A supplier can be excellent at one and ordinary at the other, and averaging them hides it.

Careful — interval stretching and dose reduction are different interventions and your post uses them interchangeably.

Assumed the weight numbers were the point and was corrected. They are secondary to what this is being developed for.

Hydration status and fasting state affect the lean mass estimate. Standardising both is the difference between a comparison and a coin toss.

comment on Janoshik is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/vendorvetting · 153 points · 7 months ago

Right — TFC publishes the method line on the certificate, and once you have seen one that does you notice every one that does not.

Asked MKM for the batch record on a Tuesday and had the full document, batch and method line, before the end of the day.

Agreed — and the corollary is that "no data" and "bad data" have to be written differently. The table separates them for exactly that reason.
