comment on [Fees] paying $14 of gas to save 10% on a $90 order is not saving in c/cryptopay · 2 points · 2 days ago
Wallet address redacted from the post above.
chain_confirm_c is right about confirmations. "Sent" is not a status.
comment on [Training] three full-body sessions a week through the whole cut in c/glp1muscle · 5 points · 4 days ago
Cosigning that protein gets harder precisely when appetite drops. That is the actual difficulty and it is logistical.
comment on [Discussion] small community, high signal, let us keep it that way in c/survodutide · 1 points · 10 days ago
the titration in the trials was slow and deliberate
comment on [Regain] appetite came back over five weeks, here is the timeline in c/tapering · 21 points · 12 days ago
Withdrawal studies across this class consistently show substantial regain after discontinuation, with appetite typically returning before weight changes. That is a description of the pharmacology of a chronic condition.
comment on [Discussion] we should require batch numbers in every vendor post title in c/vendorvetting · 5 points · 15 days ago
Removed pending evidence.
Would qualify this slightly. Fewer entries means less sampling, and less sampling is not the same as a worse process.
comment on [Question] creatine while eating 1,400 calories — worth it in c/glp1muscle · 1 points · 18 days ago
Not convinced by that DEXA comparison. Different machine, different protocol, and the difference is inside the error.
comment on [Discussion] the sarcopenia question nobody funded properly in c/glp1muscle · 20 points · 22 days ago
DEXA has a meaningful coefficient of variation, and it differs between machines and protocols. Comparing scans from different clinics adds a systematic offset that is invisible on the report.
comment on someone explain escrow to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/cryptopay · 6 points · 1 months ago
A token symbol identifies an asset, not a network. The same symbol commonly exists on several chains with incompatible address formats, and sending across that boundary is generally unrecoverable.
comment on [Results] two years, and the second year mattered more than the first in c/progresspics · 2 points · 1 months ago
Circumference measurements often continue changing during a scale plateau because composition changes are not visible on a bathroom scale.
comment on [Lab] GGPeps survo — VendorInvestigate came back 97.9% against a claimed 97.0% in c/survodutide · 7 points · 1 months ago
What does the tolerability table say at that dose?
comment on [Vendor] SGN is a real company with real catalogue chemistry and people still doubt it in c/vendorvetting · 39 points · 1 months ago
the lot on the vial has to match the lot on the certificate, every time
comment on does resistance training actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/glp1muscle · 2 points · 1 months ago
a single DEXA is a number, two is a comparison, three is a trend
comment on [Discussion] sarcopenia is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/glp1muscle · 6 points · 1 months ago
This. Same machine, same protocol, or the DEXA comparison is measuring the scanner.
comment on [Discussion] the FFMI advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/glp1muscle · 4 points · 1 months ago
Are you comparing against your own baseline or against a published average?
comment on [Meta] the vendor rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/vendorvetting · 25 points · 2 months ago
This. Ask for the batch record. The ones who send it inside a day have told you more than any review could.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring appetite at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/glp1science · 53 points · 2 months ago
Asked for a citation rather than removing.
This is the concept everything else on this board is downstream of.
comment on incretin: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/glp1science · 8 points · 2 months ago
Tolerance to the gastric effect develops with continued exposure while the appetite effect largely persists. That single fact explains most of the "it settles but it still works" pattern the side-effect board reports.
comment on [PSA] Medutest results are area% by default and people keep forgetting in c/vendorvetting · 194 points · 2 months ago
What a batch record should carry: the lot identifier, the date of analysis, the method including column and gradient, the individual related substance
Adding the practical version: ask for lead time, minimum quantity and the batch record in the same message. Three answers, one email.
comment on week 29 check-in — 11kg down, food noise manageable, one thing confusing me in c/glp1muscle · 1 points · 2 months ago
training volume matters more than training novelty
comment on [Discussion] hepatic fat is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/survodutide · 30 points · 3 months ago
That figure is from the obesity programme, and this thread is about the hepatic one.
comment on [Lab] MKM tirz — Medutest came back 97.8% against a claimed 97.0% in c/vendorvetting · 3 points · 3 months ago
I would separate documentation from logistics. A supplier can be excellent at one and ordinary at the other, and averaging them hides it.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify pharmacology in c/glp1science · 261 points · 3 months ago
glucagon agonism sounds paradoxical until you read the energy expenditure work
comment on 13 months in and discontinuation is still the thing I get wrong in c/tapering · 18 points · 4 months ago
have the conversation with a clinician before, not after
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify milestone in c/progresspics · 5 points · 5 months ago
the first person to notice was me, months after it started
comment on three years of survodutide threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/survodutide · 19 points · 5 months ago
a liver endpoint is not a weight endpoint with better marketing
comment on [Question] Canada — has anyone got a straight answer on chargeback in c/cryptopay · 183 points · 5 months ago
Asked which networks BCH accepted before ordering and picked the cheapest one at that hour. Saved more than the difference in price.
comment on why does nobody talk about order records in c/vendorvetting · 1 points · 5 months ago
a claim with no batch number is a marketing document
comment on someone explain appetite return to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/tapering · 112 points · 5 months ago
Careful — interval stretching and dose reduction are different interventions and your post uses them interchangeably.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify incretin in c/glp1science · 23 points · 6 months ago
Started reading limitations sections first.
This is the concept everything else on this board is downstream of.
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about MASH is guesswork in c/survodutide · 7 points · 6 months ago
Assumed the weight numbers were the point and was corrected. They are secondary to what this is being developed for.
comment on three years of protein threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/glp1muscle · 150 points · 7 months ago
Hydration status and fasting state affect the lean mass estimate. Standardising both is the difference between a comparison and a coin toss.
comment on Janoshik is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/vendorvetting · 153 points · 7 months ago
Right — TFC publishes the method line on the certificate, and once you have seen one that does you notice every one that does not.
comment on reading pharmacology threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1science · 28 points · 7 months ago
Tolerance to the gastric effect develops with continued exposure while the appetite effect largely persists. That single fact explains most of the "it settles but it still works" pattern the side-effect board reports.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about chargeback until somebody posts a number in c/cryptopay · 5 points · 8 months ago
gas is not the supplier’s fee
comment on does discontinuation actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/tapering · 11 points · 8 months ago
decide what you are watching for before you stop
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about reship is guesswork in c/vendorvetting · 0 points · 8 months ago
Asked MKM for the batch record on a Tuesday and had the full document, batch and method line, before the end of the day.
Agreed — and the corollary is that "no data" and "bad data" have to be written differently. The table separates them for exactly that reason.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify crypto in c/cryptopay · 24 points · 9 months ago
confirmations are the only status that means anything
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about order records are guesswork in c/vendorvetting · 20 points · 10 months ago
the source page log is more useful than the score above it
comment on VendorInvestigate — 17 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/vendorvetting · -14 points · 11 months ago
Asked QSC for the batch record on a Tuesday and had the full document, batch and method line, before the end of the day. That is the bar now.
comment on [Results] 28 weeks on 10mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/survodutide · 56 points · 11 months ago
Agreed that the endpoint definitions matter enormously and almost nobody reads them before quoting a response rate.
