[Discussion] the constipation advice in here is 2 years out of date
the constipation advice in here is 2 years out of date, and I am aware this is a minority view on this board.
The numbers the title promised, since a headline without them is worthless: 2 years. Everything below is context for those.
A symptom that begins the day after the shot and fades by day four tracks the exposure curve. One that appears at random in week 69 probably does not, and that is worth saying to a clinician rather than to us.
Severe or persistent abdominal pain sits outside the pattern this board can usefully discuss. The honest answer there is that it needs someone who can examine you.
Not medical advice, obviously, and nothing here is approved for human use. One person with a spreadsheet.

Keeping a log, and what to put in it.
One line a day: dose, day since injection, what the symptom was and how bad out of five, and roughly what you ate. Two months of that fits on one page and the pattern is obvious on paper in a way it never is in your head.
Mine showed a clean day-two-to-day-four window I had been describing as "random". Once you can see the pattern you can plan around it, and planning around it is most of the relief.
Reflux was the one that got me. Stopped eating in the three hours before bed and it went from nightly to almost never.

Agreed, with the caveat that "usually settles" is not "always settles" and the exceptions should still get asked about properly.
fatigue plus low intake is usually just low intake
Which day of the week relative to the shot does it hit?
Most of the common complaints trace back to slowed gastric emptying — early fullness, reflux, nausea after a large or fatty meal. That is also why meal size and speed change the experience more than anything else.
