genuine question about sulphur burps that I am slightly embarrassed to ask
Slightly embarrassed to be asking this, but: genuine question about sulphur burps that I am slightly embarrassed to ask. Kept a one-line-a-day log for two months. The pattern was obvious on paper and invisible in my head. Keeping a log, and what to put in it. One line a day: dose, day since injection, what the…
Left up. It is a description of one person’s week and it is flagged as such.
The pattern almost everyone here describes, written out once so it can be linked.
A step up is followed by a rough window — commonly sulphur burps arriving the day after the shot and easing by day four, worst in the first fortnight, then flattening out. At a stable dose it usually settles further. Constipation and fatigue tend to track intake and fluid rather than the compound directly, which is why the unglamorous answers work.
What sits outside that pattern: severe pain, symptoms that appear from nowhere weeks into a stable dose, or anything getting worse rather than better over a month. None of that is a board question and none of us can answer it for you.

Agreed, with the caveat that "usually settles" is not "always settles" and the exceptions should still get asked about properly.
Agreed. Slowing down at meals did more for my reflux than everything I bought to fix it, which was embarrassing to discover.
The fatigue turned out to be that I was eating about a third of what I thought I was. Tracked it for a week and the mystery evaporated.
Nothing in this thread is medical advice, including this comment. I am describing a mechanism, not telling anybody what to do about their own week.
if it is severe or persistent that is a clinician question, not a board question
Right, and the hair thing is worth repeating: it tracks the rate of loss rather than the compound, and it stops.
