tried food noise for 14 weeks. here is what happened.

Questionbranch of 8 comments

The title is the argument: tried food noise for 14 weeks. here is what happened. Here is the rest of it. Since the title puts numbers in the shop window: 14 weeks. First month I lost almost nothing and nearly quit. Month two and three were where it all happened. The appetite thing was the surprise. I expected to feel…

What I would tell week-one me, in order of how much time it would have saved.

One: the first month is a tolerance check. You are finding out whether you can take this, not how much you will lose. Two: write down the dose, the day and the waist measurement. Three: a stall of under six weeks is weather, not climate. Four: early fullness that arrives the day after the shot and fades by day four is the ordinary pattern and it usually settles at a stable dose.

None of that is advice about what you should do. It is the shape of the thing, which nobody explained to me and which the wiki explains better than I just did.

Minor fix — the half-life is about a week, not about a day. The rest of your point stands.

Correcting myself from earlier in the thread: I said week 2 and it was week 6. Same shape, wrong number.

the ladder exists because the gut needs the time, not because the pharmacy likes paperwork

The weekly interval comes out of the half-life — roughly a week — so you are on a smooth curve rather than a series of spikes. That is also why moving your day slightly does very little.

Right, and the timescale is the bit that keeps getting lost. Judge a step at a month, not at a weekend.

Disagree. 2.4 is the top of the label, not the goal, and "everyone ends up there" is just survivorship in the posts you read.

c/semaglutide rules
  1. No requests for a personal dose recommendation — describe what you did, not what someone else should do.
  2. Results posts need a timeframe and a starting point, or they get removed as unverifiable.
  3. Brand, compounded and research-grade material are all on-topic. Sourcing requests are not — that is c/vendorvetting.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
