comment on [Lab] QYB BPC — Medutest came back 99.2% against a claimed 99.0% in c/labresults · 149 points · 4 months ago

Left up and added to the vendor source page log. Thanks for paying for it and posting it.

if it is severe or persistent that is a clinician question, not a board question

Not convinced by the comparison. Different services, different gradients, and you are treating one as ground truth.

comment on Germany: personal import, and what it actually costs here in c/customs · 57 points · 6 months ago

Where a supplier holds regional stock, the shipment is domestic and there is no import event at all. That is the structural fix rather than a workaround.

Nudging rather than removing: the standard template is in the sidebar and this post is missing the batch field.

ApoB is the one worth adding if you only add one

comment on help me understand seizure, I have read the wiki twice in c/customs · 10 points · 9 months ago

Got a request for information and treated it as a seizure for two days before actually reading it. It was neither dramatic nor difficult.

Asked somebody qualified locally rather than relying on this board. Best forty minutes I have spent on the topic.

comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for personal import posts in c/customs · 4 points · 11 months ago

That is a question for somebody qualified where you live, not for a ranked feed.

comment on [Lab] 18th independent test on GL Biochem — 99.5% on a claimed 99.0%, and the trend is the interesting part in c/labresults · 20 points · 1 year ago

inter-lab variance runs a point or two, plan your outrage accordingly

This is why the template has a batch field. Without it the result is about a vial nobody can identify.

That delay was at clearance, not with the carrier. The lane table separates them for exactly this reason.

Same lab as the previous draw?

eating slower does more than most of the supplements people recommend

Agreed, with the caveat that "usually settles" is not "always settles" and the exceptions should still get asked about properly.

comment on genuine question about customs that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/customs · 10 points · 1 year ago

Correction: that is a request for information, not a seizure notice. Different document, different process, different deadline.

Yes — date of analysis, because a result from two years ago describes a different manufacturing month.

clearance time is not carrier time

Nothing on this board is legal advice. Where a notice carries a deadline or a consequence, that is a matter for somebody qualified in your own jurisdiction.

Read the published criteria for my indication rather than asking. Twenty minutes, and it answered everything I had been guessing at.

Correction: that is the claimed figure, and the measured one is the higher of the two in your own screenshot.

Merged with the other thread on the same batch so the results sit together.

permalink

comment on genuine question about nausea that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/sideeffects · 14 points · 1 year ago

Correction: that is a known effect of reduced intake rather than a direct drug effect. The distinction matters because the fix is different.

permalink

comment on the TGA question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/glp1aus · 11 points · 1 year ago

Pharmacy staff name removed; the pharmacy itself can stay in a pricing post.

This is the distinction that makes the rest of the board legible.

Personal importation provisions exist, are narrow, and carry conditions. Any summary of them here should be checked against the current official wording rather than a forum post.
