comment on [Below Spec] 61.2% on a vial that shipped with a 99% COA in c/labresults · 6 points · 9 days ago

If the report gives a mass spectrum as well as UV purity, say so. Identity and relative quantity are separate claims and the log tracks both.

comment on [Pattern] the nine scams. that is it. there are only nine. in c/scamalerts · 2 points · 9 days ago

That is an accusation about a named individual and it does not belong here in any form.

comment on [Data] my fridge is 2.1°C at the back and 7.8°C in the door. same fridge. in c/coldchain · 6 points · 11 days ago

Small fix — refrigerated, not frozen, once it is in solution.

comment on reading non-peptide threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/orforglipron · 1 points · 17 days ago

Spent an evening reading about small-molecule agonism at a peptide receptor. Genuinely interesting engineering.

comment on [Confirmed] group buy exit scam, 3.4k, full timeline and screenshots in c/scamalerts · 8 points · 20 days ago

Careful. What you are describing is a delayed shipment, and this board should not turn that into an accusation without more.

comment on [Janoshik] GL Biochem raw material vs a reseller vial of the same compound in c/labresults · 0 points · 26 days ago

A series across separate lots estimates a process. Repeat tests on one lot estimate the measurement. Both are useful and they answer different questions.

comment on light exposure matters more for some compounds than others and nobody tabulates it in c/coldchain · 34 points · 29 days ago

if you want to know, log it, otherwise you are guessing

permalink

comment on identity and quantity are two questions and most COAs answer one in c/coa · 1 points · 1 months ago

Ask what the stability statement was written against — temperature, light, and whether it was the lyophilised powder or the reconstituted solution. Those are three different claims.

comment on [Medutest] SWB sema — 98.2%, cold chain intact, 9 days transit in c/labresults · 1 points · 1 months ago

net peptide content if the report gives it, and say which you are quoting

permalink

comment on [Results] two years, and the second year mattered more than the first in c/progresspics · 1 points · 1 months ago

the timeframe matters as much as the number

permalink

comment on [Medutest] SWB sema — 98.2%, cold chain intact, 9 days transit in c/labresults · 3 points · 1 months ago

Yes — date of analysis, because a result from two years ago describes a different manufacturing month.

permalink

comment on [Results] two years, and the second year mattered more than the first in c/progresspics · 10 points · 1 months ago

Same. Comparison ruined about three months for me until I stopped reading the fastest posts.

permalink

comment on [Lab] four vendors, same compound, same week, one test each in c/labresults · 6 points · 1 months ago

That service reports area percent by default. Worth stating, since the thread has been comparing it to a mass figure.

permalink

comment on [PSA] dual agonist is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/survodutide · 16 points · 1 months ago

not approved anywhere, and the boards forget that constantly

permalink

comment on does cloned site actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/scamalerts · 21 points · 1 months ago

Push back: "nobody has tested them" is a fact about this board, not a fact about the company. Say the first one.

permalink

comment on [Lab] split one vial across Medutest and Janoshik — 97.6% and 95.1% in c/labresults · 1 points · 2 months ago

three lots beats three tests on one lot

permalink

comment on help me understand COA, I have read the wiki twice in c/coa · 23 points · 2 months ago

I would not read a rounded figure as evasive. Plenty of documents round to one decimal as house style.

permalink

comment on the related substances thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/coa · 1 points · 2 months ago

post the whole document, not the headline number

permalink

comment on switched from 10mg to 15mg and constipation got better, not worse in c/orforglipron · 2 points · 2 months ago

Yes. Oral peptide with an absorption enhancer and oral small molecule are completely different propositions.

permalink

comment on [PSA] certificate of analysis is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/coa · 73 points · 2 months ago

Did you ask for the batch-specific document, or is this the catalogue one?

permalink

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about cloned site until somebody posts a number in c/scamalerts · 0 points · 2 months ago

Right, and the group-buy structure is the underrated risk here. One person holds everything and there is no recourse designed in.

permalink

comment on the COA thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/coa · 38 points · 2 months ago

Same view. GL Biochem prints the column and the gradient, which means somebody could actually reproduce the run.

permalink

comment on why does nobody talk about dual agonist in c/survodutide · 1 points · 2 months ago

Correcting myself: the readout I quoted was the 42-week interim rather than the endpoint.

permalink

comment on why does nobody talk about dual agonist in c/survodutide · 48 points · 3 months ago

Small fix — dual agonist, GLP-1 and glucagon. No GIP arm in this molecule.

permalink

comment on [PSA] milestone is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/progresspics · 145 points · 3 months ago

The boring middle lasted the longest and it is the part I am most proud of.

permalink

comment on [PSA] milestone is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/progresspics · -12 points · 3 months ago

What was the non-scale thing that told you first?

permalink

comment on reading certificate of analysis threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/coa · 11 points · 3 months ago

Small fix — 214nm, not 280nm.

Disagree on this specific point. Two honest labs can resolve that impurity differently and report different numbers.

permalink

comment on reading certificate of analysis threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/coa · 441 points · 3 months ago

Related substances itemised individually is a much stronger document than a single total, because it tells you the shape of the impurity profile rather than its size.

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify Janoshik in c/labresults · 206 points · 3 months ago

Agreed — the template exists because a result without the batch and the claim is unanchored.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] the PDF metadata advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/scamalerts · 111 points · 4 months ago

This. Anything urging you to decide today is doing so for its own reasons.

permalink

comment on three years of survodutide threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/survodutide · 19 points · 5 months ago

Looked for independent results across this whole site and found almost none. Worth knowing before forming an opinion.

permalink

comment on non-scale victory — my 14-week log, condensed into one table in c/progresspics · 129 points · 5 months ago

text only here, by community rule, and it works better than you would think

permalink

comment on [Question] is 98.3% actually fine or am I being sold a rounding error in c/coa · 1 points · 6 months ago

katrin_girard has the distinction right — one is a fraction of the detector signal, the other is a fraction of the mass.

Adding the bit that always gets missed: the lot on the vial has to match the lot on the page, or none of this applies to your material.

permalink

comment on does purity actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/coa · 36 points · 6 months ago

Asked for the storage condition behind the stability statement. Got it in a sentence. It is a two-line email and almost nobody sends it.

permalink

comment on COA — 5 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/coa · 32 points · 6 months ago

Started keeping a folder of every certificate I have been sent. The ones that itemise impurities are a small group and they are mostly the same suppliers.

permalink

comment on [Lab] split one vial across VendorInvestigate and PeptideMeter — 99.1% and 96.8% in c/labresults · 195 points · 7 months ago

Inter-lab variance on this assay runs roughly a point either way, driven mostly by gradient and integration. Two results inside that band agree; they do not disagree quietly.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about packaging until somebody posts a number in c/coldchain · 1 points · 7 months ago

Correcting myself above: the transit was 16 days, not the figure I posted. Same conclusion, wrong number.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about packaging until somebody posts a number in c/coldchain · 10 points · 7 months ago

Put a logger in three consecutive orders. Two never went above the range at all and the third spent four hours warm on a Friday. Cost me almost nothing to stop wondering.

permalink

comment on [Lab] CPC orfo — Janoshik came back 98.3% against a claimed 97.5% in c/orforglipron · 10 points · 7 months ago

Went looking for independent testing on this and found essentially nothing, which was clarifying.
