comment on my compounded vial arrived at a different concentration than last month in c/compounding · 1 points · 9 days ago

What is the beyond-use date and what is it based on?

comment on [Discussion] "EU rules" is almost always a national question wearing a European hat in c/glp1eu · 6 points · 14 days ago

EU-wide advice is almost always wrong somewhere

That figure cannot be quoted to two decimals off that baseline. The precision is not in the data.

comment on [PSA] semaglutide salt forms are not the same molecule as semaglutide in c/compounding · 171 points · 16 days ago

Nothing in this thread is medical advice, and the choice between arrangements is one for you and a prescriber who knows your history.

comment on the glycaemic control thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/t2dglp1 · 1 points · 17 days ago

Is that a first-day sensor reading?

comment on switched from compounded to brand and the titration reset itself in c/compounding · 1 points · 19 days ago

Agreed on potency testing of the finished preparation. That is a different question from the purity of the starting material.

comment on [Question] does anyone keep a separate wallet just for this in c/cryptopay · 18 points · 21 days ago

Rate quotes expire because the underlying rate moves. A short expiry is ordinary; urgency about your decision is a separate signal and should be read separately.

comment on is it normal to get early fullness at week 88 in c/t2dglp1 · 67 points · 23 days ago

Incretin-based agents stimulate insulin secretion in a glucose-dependent manner, which is why hypoglycaemia risk with them alone is low. Risk rises with agents that act independently of glycaemia.

comment on [Vendor] WWB order #11 — Sweden, 13 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/cryptopay · 27 points · 1 months ago

Small fix — that is the network fee, not a supplier charge. The distinction matters for the complaint you are making.

Pasted rather than typed the address, then checked the first and last six characters. Habit now.

Did you send a test amount first?

permalink

comment on why does nobody talk about telehealth in c/compounding · 4 points · 1 months ago

Asked which facility and got a name straight away. Looked it up, found the registration, felt considerably better about the whole thing.

comment on [Meta] the USDC rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/cryptopay · 28 points · 2 months ago

Confirmation took forty minutes on a busy evening and I had already written half an angry message. Deleted it.

comment on the gradient question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/hplc · 6 points · 2 months ago

Ran a blank after a high-concentration injection and found the carryover I had been calling an impurity.

comment on help me understand chargeback, I have read the wiki twice in c/cryptopay · 4 points · 2 months ago

Agreed that quote expiry is ordinary.

Adding the cheap insurance — test amount first on anything large.

That is a sensor value, not a plasma value, and the two are not interchangeable at that level of precision.

comment on [Discussion] the crypto advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/cryptopay · 14 points · 3 months ago

Careful, that address format belongs to a different chain and sending to it would not end well.

comment on moderation is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/meta · 1 points · 3 months ago

nobody here is paid, including the moderators

Disagreeing with this bit: making individual cases public by default is worse for the person being moderated.

Did they name the facility?

What did the intake actually ask you?

salt forms are the recurring argument and the answer is boring

Sensor accuracy varies across wear, and readings on the first day are the least reliable.

This is the distinction that resolves most of the confusion here — average versus shape.

permalink

compounded is not generic, there is no equivalence claim

Are you comparing the same presentation, or different pack sizes?

permalink

comment on [Question] gradient — what am I missing here in c/hplc · 48 points · 7 months ago

Same view — reporting the gradient is what makes a result checkable rather than merely stated.

the pharmacy and the prescriber are two separate questions

permalink

comment on [Question] Apotheke — what am I missing here in c/glp1eu · 9 points · 9 months ago

Agreed — authorisation is European, reimbursement is national, and almost every confused thread here misses that split.

Pointing this one at a pharmacist locally.

adaeze_batista is right — the integration choice is a decision and it should be stated alongside the result.

comment on does compounding actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/compounding · -34 points · 1 year ago

Yes. The shortage list is the legal hinge for the whole arrangement and its status is public.

Yes. Nobody here is paid and the disclosure page says so in tedious detail, which is the correct level of tedious.
