comment on [Paper] survodutide MASH data is the most interesting hepatic readout in the class in c/survodutide · 2 points · 16 hr ago

Has anyone posted an independent purity result for this compound?

Assumed the weight numbers were the point and was corrected. They are secondary to what this is being developed for.

comment on [Vendor] WXT order #4 — 8 days Wuxi to UK, cold pack still solid in c/vendorvetting · 20 points · 7 days ago

Right — HJ publishes the method line on the certificate, and once you have seen one that does you notice every one that does not.

comment on [Regain] 4kg back over a year and i am calling that a win in c/maintenancephase · -30 points · 15 days ago

maintenance is a phase, not a finish line

comment on domain registered eleven days ago, 400 five-star reviews. sure in c/vendorvetting · 2 points · 20 days ago

Fixing my own comment above: I said 21 orders and it is 26. The pattern is the same, the count was wrong.

comment on [Appeal] peer-to-peer review: what to say and what to bring in c/insurancefights · 1 points · 20 days ago

the second-level appeal is where things actually turn

permalink

comment on [Appeal] peer-to-peer review: what to say and what to bring in c/insurancefights · 34 points · 21 days ago

external review exists and almost nobody uses it

permalink

comment on [Results] two years, weight stable within 3kg, dose at a quarter of peak in c/maintenancephase · 53 points · 21 days ago

Withdrawal studies in this class consistently show substantial regain after discontinuation. That is a pharmacological finding about a chronic condition, not a statement about anyone’s discipline.

permalink

comment on stretching to 10 days instead of 7 — anyone doing this long term in c/maintenancephase · -22 points · 24 days ago

Body weight varies by a couple of kilos over days in stable people through fluid, glycogen and gut content. A range is not a trend.

comment on [Vendor] MKM — five tests, four compounds, nothing outside the band in c/vendorvetting · 70 points · 1 months ago

ask for the batch record before you ask for a discount

permalink

comment on [Discussion] the external review advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/insurancefights · -1 points · 1 months ago

Spent six weeks arguing in general terms and got nowhere. Two paragraphs quoting their own criteria turned it around in eleven days.

nobody here is paid, including the moderators

comment on the hypoglycaemia question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/t2dglp1 · 12 points · 1 months ago

the fasting number is the one people fixate on and it moves last

permalink

comment on [Rules] no referral links. not once. not ever. permanent. in c/meta · 1 points · 1 months ago

Proposed a rule change here with actual wording and it was adopted. That is the process working and it is not fast.

permalink

comment on [Rules] no referral links. not once. not ever. permanent. in c/meta · 0 points · 1 months ago

Disagree with loosening that. The evidence rule is why a supplier report here means something.

permalink

comment on why does nobody talk about A1c in c/t2dglp1 · -16 points · 1 months ago

Disagree — that is an obesity trial endpoint and this thread is about glycaemic control.

permalink

comment on regain: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/maintenancephase · 76 points · 1 months ago

Has appetite changed, or only the scale?

permalink

comment on [Lab] split one vial across Medutest and Janoshik — 96.2% and 99.2% in c/vendorvetting · 177 points · 2 months ago

Mild pushback: a supplier with fewer entries is not worse, it is less sampled. Those are different claims and the table says so.

permalink

comment on [Question] glucagon — what am I missing here in c/survodutide · 1 points · 2 months ago

dual GLP-1 and glucagon agonist, and the glucagon arm is the story

permalink

comment on maintenance is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/maintenancephase · 7 points · 2 months ago

Correction: that trial measured regain after withdrawal, not failure of the drug during treatment. Very different claim.

permalink

comment on [Results] 28 weeks, 11kg, and MASH was the hard part in c/survodutide · 4 points · 2 months ago

Yes — nothing containing this is approved anywhere, which is the first fact and usually the last one mentioned.

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about copay until somebody posts a number in c/insurancefights · -22 points · 2 months ago

Employer plan or individual plan?

permalink

comment on reading order records threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/vendorvetting · 51 points · 3 months ago

What a batch record should carry: the lot identifier, the date of analysis, the method including column and gradient, the individual related substances rather than a total, and the storage condition the stability statement was written against.

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify vendor in c/vendorvetting · 45 points · 3 months ago

Left up.

Adding the practical version: ask for lead time, minimum quantity and the batch record in the same message. Three answers, one email.

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify vendor in c/vendorvetting · 27 points · 3 months ago

Agree. The verification log is the part with the checkable facts in it; the number at the top is just a summary of a lot of averaging.

the wiki is editable by anybody with standing on the site

permalink

comment on week 95 check-in — 48kg down, nausea manageable, one thing confusing me in c/maintenancephase · 15 points · 4 months ago

Weigh monthly now. Best change I made in the whole run and it cost nothing.

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify MASH in c/survodutide · 66 points · 4 months ago

Went slowly because everything published describes a deliberate escalation. That is the extent of what I will say about it.

permalink

comment on three years of step therapy threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/insurancefights · 1 points · 5 months ago

Same view. The second-level appeal is where mine turned, after a first-level denial that looked final.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about dose stretching until somebody posts a number in c/maintenancephase · 226 points · 5 months ago

Body weight varies by a couple of kilos over days in stable people through fluid, glycogen and gut content. A range is not a trend.

permalink

comment on why does nobody talk about order records in c/vendorvetting · 10 points · 5 months ago

the source page log is more useful than the score above it

permalink

comment on small win: maintenance stopped being a problem at week 92 in c/maintenancephase · 2 points · 5 months ago

seven days to ten to twelve is the sequence people here describe

permalink

comment on small win: maintenance stopped being a problem at week 92 in c/maintenancephase · 10 points · 5 months ago

None of this is a taper plan. What dose holds for you is a question for somebody with your history in front of them.
