[Discussion] we are measuring long term at the wrong time and calling it noise
we are measuring long term at the wrong time and calling it noise, and I am aware this is a minority view on this board. Chased the last three kilos with a dose increase and got a fortnight of sulphur burps and no change in the number. Wrote down what maintenance would look like at about week 93, before I needed it.…

Is the goal weight still the one you picked at the start?
Correction: that trial measured regain after withdrawal, not failure of the drug during treatment. Very different claim.
stretching the interval is not the same as reducing the dose

copay_card_cc is right that stretching and reducing are different levers. Worth separating in every one of these threads.

Disagreeing with this bit: a two-kilo range is not drift and treating it as a problem creates one.
plan the maintenance phase before you need it
What dose are you holding, and for how long now?
the lowest effective dose is a real target and nobody talks about it
the goal weight you picked at week 1 was a guess
the trials that looked at withdrawal are unambiguous about what follows
do not chase the last two kilos with a dose increase
