Same. The first day of a new sensor is unreliable and people rebuild their whole week around it.

Disagree that the pace matters as much as you think. Durable is better than fast and nobody posts about durable.

Small fix — it slows gastric emptying, it does not halt it, and the distinction matters for the mechanism you are proposing.

Certain conditions affect A1c independently of glycaemia. If a result looks inconsistent with the sensor data, that is a question for whoever manages your care rather than for this board.

Spent an evening on the receptor distribution literature and the side-effect map suddenly stopped looking random.

Storage guidance that names a temperature, a state and a duration reflects actual stability work. Generic guidance usually reflects a template.

Not convinced by that mechanism. Slowed gastric emptying explains fullness and reflux; it does not explain what you are describing.

Careful — that is a dosing recommendation dressed as an anecdote, and this board removes those.

Went looking for human data on a mechanism everybody here asserts. Found preclinical work and one small study. That was clarifying.

This. Hypoglycaemia risk in this class is driven mostly by the other agents in the regimen.

Incretin-based agents stimulate insulin secretion in a glucose-dependent manner, which is why hypoglycaemia risk with them alone is low. Risk rises with agents that act independently of glycaemia.

Push back: one sensor reading is not a data point worth acting on, especially in the first day of wear.

The escalation schedule in the trials existed to keep people on the drug. It is a tolerability ramp, and it is why the label reads the way it does.

I confused two very similar words on my first order and asked here, expecting to be mocked. Three people explained it properly instead.
