a lane with four reports is not yet a lane

a directory entry is a record, not a recommendation

Regional stock replaces an international lane with a domestic one. That is a structural change to the distribution, not a marginal improvement, and it is why the warehouse question matters more than the carrier question.

Careful with naming anybody. The board rule holds even here, and especially here.

Daily dosing gives a very different exposure profile from a weekly injectable: peaks and troughs within each day rather than a smoothed weekly curve.

comment on tirzepatide — 9 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/tirzepatide · 0 points · 7 months ago

It is a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist, and the GIP arm is the part that has no equivalent in the semaglutide threads.

Agreed, with one qualifier: that is the mean of the top arm and the spread around it was enormous.

I would separate documentation from logistics. A supplier can be excellent at one and ordinary at the other, and averaging them hides it.

What is the waist doing? That is usually the number still moving during a scale stall.

A certificate with a purity figure and no method line is not falsifiable.

Adding the practical version: ask for lead time, minimum quantity and the batch record in the same message. Three answers, one email.

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify EMS in c/intlshipping · 12 points · 8 months ago

Packaging is assessable on arrival with no equipment: rigid outer, no movement inside, the cold element sized to the transit rather than to the box.

Paid for identity confirmation rather than just purity for the first time here. Worth it, and it is not the default on most certificates.

two identical orders a week apart is the cheapest experiment available

permalink

comment on is it normal to get muscle cramps at week 86 in c/orforglipron · 0 points · 9 months ago

Milligram comparisons across molecule classes are meaningless.

Adding the standing caveat — unapproved, and research material is not for human use.

In England, specialist weight management services are commissioned locally, so eligibility criteria and waiting times differ by ICB. There is no single national threshold to quote.

Yes — 10mg being a genuine landing place for a lot of people is underrated. There is no medal for 15.

Switched pharmacies mid-titration and had to restart the ladder because the concentrations did not line up.

This. The monthly pricing tracker is the most useful thing on this board and it works because nobody is allowed to link anything.

comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about Medutest is guesswork in c/vendorvetting · 18 points · 11 months ago

Inter-lab variance on this assay runs a point or two either way. Two services disagreeing by that much is agreement, not a discrepancy, and treating it otherwise starts pointless arguments.

comment on genuine question about NHS that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/glp1uk · 12 points · 11 months ago

Two years and four months on a tier 3 list. Referral date and every letter kept, which turned out to matter when the service reorganised.

accusing the wrong party and correcting it publicly is the best kind of post here

Adding the thing that would have caught it earliest — buy small and test before committing.

Told everybody, then stopped, then had to tell everybody that too. That was harder than any of the rest of it.

Supply notices from the regulator describe expected availability at a national level. They do not predict what any individual pharmacy has on the shelf next week.

Was it shipped from a regional warehouse or from origin?

That is the quoted lead time, not the observed transit. Both belong in the report and they are different columns.

comment on [Meta] the shipping rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/intlshipping · 549 points · 1 year ago

I would not read a single slow shipment as a lane change.

This is why the lane table is organised the way it is. The supplier is not the unit.
