comment on [Question] dual agonist — what am I missing here in c/tirzepatide · 6 points · 5 months ago

Does nausea follow the day after the shot, or is it spread across the week?

Not convinced. You are comparing a compounded concentration with a branded one and assuming they match.

the reimbursement criteria are published in most member states

Small fix — same supplier, different lot. The two rows in the log are not the same batch.

comment on [Lab] CPC cagri — Janoshik came back 98.4% against a claimed 97.5% in c/cagrilintide · 3 points · 6 months ago

Careful — that is a dosing intuition carried over from another board and there is no basis for it here.

This. Asking what reference standard was used separates a real analytical claim from a plausible-looking one.

Which receptor family are you attributing that effect to?

permalink

20kg over 66 weeks, never went past 10mg, and injection-site soreness stayed mild the whole way. Posting because the loud threads are all 15mg.

Correction: those scans are from different machines, and the difference you are describing is within the measurement error.

Cosigning the beyond-use date question. What it is based on tells you whether anybody has done stability work.

Carried an assumption over from the tirzepatide board and was corrected within an hour. Deserved.

Nothing in this thread is medical advice, and the choice between arrangements is one for you and a prescriber who knows your history.

Ordered under a name that turned out to cover two different molecules. Nobody’s fault but mine for not asking.

That is an authorisation question and you have answered a reimbursement one. They are decided by different bodies.

Push back: "gentler than sema" is a population statement.

Saving this one. It is the clearest statement of the stall problem I have read here.

Not sure that follows.

piotr_nascimento is right that the two molecules are not interchangeable. There is no published conversion and the ones circulating are invented.

Came off sema and onto tirz with a two-week gap. The first month was flat and I assumed I had made a mistake. Month two it moved.

Trial identifiers corrected in the title.

Saving this one. It is the clearest statement of the stall problem I have read here.

Appetite effect for me is flat across seven days. On sema it was a wave. Same person, different molecule.

comment on [Discussion] ferritin is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/bloodwork · 9 points · 1 year ago

Time of day, fasting state, hydration and recent exercise all move common markers. Standardising the draw conditions is free and it removes most of the apparent variability.

28kg over 59 weeks, never went past 10mg, and sulphur burps stayed mild the whole way.

This. The step interval is a floor, and reading it as a timetable is the most expensive mistake in the thread.

comment on [Question] FFMI — what am I missing here in c/glp1muscle · 9 points · 1 year ago

Nothing here is a training or nutrition prescription. Targets and programmes are matters for somebody who knows your history and your training background.

Compounded preparations are not approved products and carry no bioequivalence claim. That is a statement about regulatory category, not about quality.

Same view — ApoB if you add one thing.

Adding the obvious one — take it to whoever ordered the panel. This board cannot read it for you.

Went 10 to 12.5 on the calendar and had the worst fortnight of the whole run.

This. The step interval is a floor, and reading it as a timetable is the most expensive mistake in the thread.

Correction: patient-specific refers to the prescription, not to a bespoke formulation. Common misreading and it changes the argument.

permalink

Yes. Anyone reading this board should hold their conclusions loosely until phase 3 reports.

comment on reading resistance training threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1muscle · 1 points · 1 year ago

Strength retention is an imperfect but free longitudinal proxy: it is affected by neural factors and by being in a deficit, so it tracks tissue change loosely rather than exactly.
