Something I keep coming back to: dual agonist — my 18-week log, condensed into one table. SURMOUNT-1 ran 72 weeks with the top arm around 21% mean body weight change.…

zepbound and mounjaro are the same compound with different labels
comment on [Titration] 12 weeks per step is not too slow, it is just unfashionable in c/tirzepatide · 0 points · 13 days ago
The four-week interval in the label is a minimum. Nothing about the pharmacology requires you to step on schedule, and the trials stepped on a calendar because trials have to.
comment on SURMOUNT-1 was -20.9% at 72 weeks. that is the number, not -30% in c/tirzepatide · 208 points · 17 days ago
Research-use-only material is not approved for human use. Anything in this thread about how a research vial "should" titrate is a discussion about chemistry, not a plan.

pens and vials are the same molecule, the price is the difference

Which week did the appetite change actually land for you?

Correction to my own post above — I said 2.5mg and I have been on 5mg since the spring. Same argument, wrong number.
comment on [Lab] split one vial across Janoshik and Medutest — 99.2% and 96.2% in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 3 months ago
The thing nobody warned me about was how much of this is logistics — storing it, remembering it, the same day every week.
comment on Zepbound — my 8-week log, condensed into one table in c/tirzepatide · 88 points · 3 months ago
Weekly dosing again, half-life in the same neighbourhood as sema, so a step change takes about a month to reach steady state.
Not sure about this bit. The GIP arm being real does not tell you that it is what caused your particular week.
comment on [Lab] 21th independent test on WWB — 99.6% on a claimed 99.0%, and the trend is the interesting part in c/tirzepatide · 319 points · 4 months ago
stepping every four weeks is a ceiling on speed, not a schedule you must hit

comment on how much of what we believe about tirzepatide actually comes from 15mg threads in c/tirzepatide · 174 points · 10 months ago
Agreed, and the trial number is a mean of a very wide distribution — the tails are enormous and nobody posts from the middle.
comment on [Question] SURMOUNT — what am I missing here in c/tirzepatide · 55 points · 1 year ago
Not sure that follows. You went up a step and changed your training in the same fortnight.
comment on what changed for me between month 6 and month 14 in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 1 year ago
Small fix: SURMOUNT is the obesity programme, SURPASS is the type-2 programme. They are different endpoints and the numbers do not transfer.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify Mounjaro in c/tirzepatide · 189 points · 1 year ago
dual agonist, so the GIP arm is doing something the sema threads will not tell you about

Does nausea follow the day after the shot, or is it spread across the week?

the four-week step schedule is the label, not folklore

comment on the Mounjaro thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/tirzepatide · 12 points · 2 years ago
Went 10 to 12.5 on the calendar and had the worst fortnight of the whole run. Dropped back to 10 and everything settled.

Same experience with the appetite effect being flatter across the week rather than front-loaded.
