is it normal to get food noise at week 63
is it normal to get food noise at week 63. Full detail below, and I have tried to keep the editorialising out of it.
Built an elaborate spreadsheet, abandoned it by week nine, restarted with four columns and have kept it ever since.
Kept one line a week for 17 months. It was pointless for the first eight weeks and then it was the most useful document I owned.
Screenshot none of this. Read the whole thread, including the parts where I am told I am wrong.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Missing entries recorded as blanks preserve the shape of the series. Dropping them silently makes the remaining points look more regular than they were.
Not convinced by the retrospective reconstruction. Memory smooths things and the smoothing is systematic.
Exported the whole thing to a plain text file after nearly losing it in an app that shut down.
Added a sleep column late and immediately understood two of my worst weeks.
Annotation is what makes a log survive contact with your future self. A single note beside an unusual week saves an hour of puzzled reconstruction later.
record the dose, the day and one number, that is enough
Careful — posting a log as a schedule for other people to follow is not what this board is for.
waist monthly, weight weekly, notes whenever
annotate the weeks where something else changed
Yes — log what happened rather than what you intended. My retrospective entries were quietly wrong every time.
waist monthly, weight weekly, notes whenever
Adding the column everyone adds late — sleep. Start with it.
That is a waist figure in the weight column. Easy mistake and it makes the chart look dramatic.
Is the concentration recorded anywhere in the log?
Are the missed weeks in there as blanks or dropped entirely?
Yes — write the concentration in the log as well as on the vial. Belt and braces and it costs nothing.
Push back: a log with four variables changing at once cannot attribute anything to any of them.
