Area percent or net peptide content? They answer different questions.

units are a volume on a U-100 syringe, not a dose
comment on tried weight for 3 weeks. here is what happened. in c/dosinglogs · 145 points · 1 year ago
Careful — posting a log as a schedule for other people to follow is not what this board is for.
comment on three years of water content threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/coa · 107 points · 1 year ago
Agreed on asking for the storage condition. It is one line and it changes how you read the entire stability claim.

comment on genuine question about weekly update that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/dosinglogs · 13 points · 1 year ago
Cosigning on missed weeks. Leaving them blank makes the whole series misleading.

comment on insulin syringe is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/reconstitution · 27 points · 2 years ago
I would not round that figure. At 1.67mg/mL a rounding error of two units is a real fraction of the intended amount.

That template is elaborate enough that you will stop using it by week ten. Mine was.

Aim the stream down the wall of the vial rather than into the cake.
This is the sentence that makes the rest unnecessary. Write it on the vial and the problem is gone.
comment on [Question] purity — what am I missing here in c/coa · 275 points · 2 years ago
Yes — and the reason to ask for the whole page is that the interesting parts are the ones people crop out to fit a screenshot.

How many mg in the vial and how many mL are you adding?

This. Showing the working is the fastest way for somebody else to spot the mistake.
comment on [Lab] 16th independent test on WXT — 99.3% on a claimed 98.5%, and the trend is the interesting part in c/coa · 41 points · 2 years ago
identity and quantity are two questions and most documents answer one

Research-use-only material is not approved for human use, so treat everything in this thread as arithmetic about solutions rather than instructions for a person.
comment on reading concentration threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/reconstitution · 68 points · 2 years ago
Disagree with the "more water is safer" framing. It is not safer, it is just a different number to divide by.

Yes, and the dead-space point is worth repeating: it is small, it is real, and it is the same for every draw.

Yes. Writing 5mg/mL on the vial takes four seconds and removes the entire class of error this board exists to fix.
