NL. Basisverzekering will not cover it. Here is what I tried anyway.

comment on [Country] NL — basisverzekering will not cover it, here is what i tried in c/glp1eu · 34 points · 1 days ago

Pack sizes and presentations differ between member states, so a headline price is not comparable until it is normalised to a common quantity.

NL basisverzekering will not cover it at all, so the mechanism here is "there is no mechanism", which at least has the virtue of clarity.

Dosing intuitions from the GLP-1 boards do not transfer. Different receptor family, different exposure-response, and no published schedule for members to reason from.

Country added to the title.

aussie_pbs_watch is right that the two countries are separate systems and the answers diverge.

Yes. The starting dose is a tolerance step. It is not supposed to do very much.

Correction: the starting dose is a tolerance step rather than a treatment dose.

nordic_pricing has explained this better than the wiki does, which is saying something.

I would not panic about that. It is on the list of ordinary first-month experiences.

Combination and monotherapy arms must be read separately. Efficacy and tolerability both differ substantially between them and summaries routinely blur the two.

How to ask a question here so that you get a useful answer.

Say what week you are in, whether you are using a pen or a vial, what country you are in, and what you have already read. Those four facts turn a question that gets three contradictory answers into one that gets a specific one.

And do ask. The basic questions get searched for constantly, so a clear answer here helps a stream of people who will never post. The only genuinely unwelcome thing on this board is being unpleasant to somebody for not knowing something yet.

Left up. It names the member state and the pack size, which is all we ask of a pricing post.

Nothing on this board is medical advice, and the people answering you — including me — are members with spreadsheets rather than clinicians.

DEXA has a meaningful coefficient of variation, and it differs between machines and protocols. Comparing scans from different clinics adds a systematic offset that is invisible on the report.

Personal importation provisions exist, are narrow, and carry conditions. Any summary of them here should be checked against the current official wording rather than a forum post.

Independent purity data on this compound is sparse compared with the older molecules, simply because far fewer members have paid for testing. Sparse data means wide uncertainty, not a verdict.
