Slightly embarrassed to be asking this, but: why does nobody talk about fraud. Now I buy small from anyone new, test it, and only then commit. It has cost me a few…

Same view. The analytical problem is different enough that the usual purity discussions here do not transfer cleanly.
comment on [Confirmed] cloned storefront, same product photos, different checkout in c/scamalerts · 1 points · 7 days ago
Has anyone else in the thread got the same domain in their history?
comment on [Confirmed] group buy exit scam, 3.4k, full timeline and screenshots in c/scamalerts · 56 points · 19 days ago
I would separate the two claims. The site being newly registered is checkable. The motive you are inferring is not.
comment on three years of DHL threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/intlshipping · 1 points · 25 days ago
a lane with four reports is not yet a lane
Agreed — and the decomposition matters. Most people are blaming the international leg for a last-mile problem.
comment on what changed for me between month 12 and month 18 in c/orforglipron · 1 points · 1 months ago
Yes. Oral peptide with an absorption enhancer and oral small molecule are completely different propositions.
comment on [Discussion] lane is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/intlshipping · 19 points · 1 months ago
Agreed on rigid packaging. It costs the shipper almost nothing and it predicts a lot about the rest of the operation.

never accuse an individual, describe what happened to you
comment on why does nobody talk about fraud in c/scamalerts · 1 points · 1 months ago
Correcting my own post: the payment date was the 14th, not the 4th. The gap is smaller than I made it sound.

Small fix — the name you are describing is in the wider-market table with almost nothing on file, not in the documented twenty.
comment on anyone else notice oral GLP-1 kicking in around week 56 in c/orforglipron · 5 points · 1 months ago
Right, and comparing milligrams between a small molecule and a peptide is meaningless in either direction.
comment on does cloned site actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/scamalerts · 13 points · 1 months ago
Is this a shop, a group buy, or an individual reseller? They fail in different ways.

Agreed that phase 3 is where the comparison becomes fair. Everything before it is inference.

comment on am I the only one who found interval stretching harder than the injections in c/tapering · 9 points · 5 months ago
Had the conversation with a clinician before stopping rather than after. Considerably easier that way round.
comment on am I the only one who found interval stretching harder than the injections in c/tapering · 45 points · 5 months ago
Is this a pause or a stop? They are different plans.
comment on am I the only one who found interval stretching harder than the injections in c/tapering · -22 points · 5 months ago
stopping abruptly and stopping gradually are different experiences
Agreed — and the exposure lag means the first fortnight tells you almost nothing.
Trying to get a straight answer on this: am I the only one who found interval stretching harder than the injections. Regained most of it over a year and spent that year…
comment on [Question] EMS — what am I missing here in c/intlshipping · 9 points · 5 months ago
That is a packaging observation, not a transit observation. Worth posting, worth separating.
comment on [PSA] PDF metadata are not what most of this community thinks it is in c/scamalerts · 30 points · 5 months ago
Ask for the batch-specific certificate before payment. Any operation with a quality system behind it can produce one; the request costs you nothing and it filters hard.
comment on does DHL actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/intlshipping · 45 points · 6 months ago
Regional stock replaces an international lane with a domestic one. That is a structural change to the distribution, not a marginal improvement, and it is why the warehouse question matters more than the carrier question.
comment on does carrier actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/intlshipping · 0 points · 6 months ago
declared value and description are the shipper’s decision, ask what they use
This is why the lane table is organised the way it is. The supplier is not the unit.
comment on group buy — 11 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/scamalerts · 1 points · 7 months ago
Asked a new shop for a batch-specific certificate before ordering. The reply was a generic catalogue page. I did not order.

write down where you are before you change anything
Adding the one process step — write down where you are before you change anything.

ask which lines are actually held in the regional warehouse
comment on [Meta] the EMS rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/intlshipping · 1 points · 9 months ago
Agreed. Reporting by lane rather than by supplier is what made the tables here actually predictive.

Lost money once, years ago, to a shop that pushed hard for a decision the same day. Every time I see that pressure now I close the tab.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring lane at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/intlshipping · 116 points · 10 months ago
Yes — median rather than best case. The fastest anybody ever got is not a plan.
comment on how much of what we believe about PDF metadata actually comes from fraud threads in c/scamalerts · 46 points · 11 months ago
Correction: that domain is one character different from the one you posted, which is rather the point of this thread.
Agreed. Dates and documents make a report. Adjectives make a thread.

Ordered from the warehouse in New Zealand instead of origin and the whole customs question disappeared. 4 days, door to door.

Risynth Bio gets named here constantly and there is nothing verifiable on file either way
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify exit scam in c/scamalerts · 1 points · 1 year ago
if the price is impossible, the material is the thing being economised on
how do you actually verify exit scam. I would rather ask a basic question now than get this wrong quietly for two months. Nearly paid a cloned storefront. Caught it…
