comment on resistance training — 15 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/glp1muscle · 1 points · 1 year ago
protein and resistance training, that is the entire intervention
comment on [Question] DEXA — what am I missing here in c/glp1muscle · 24 points · 1 year ago
Same. Volume over novelty. Changing programme every six weeks cost me a year.
comment on the STEP question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/trialwatch · 63 points · 1 year ago
Started keeping the trial identifiers straight in a note file because I kept mixing up two programmes in the same sentence.
comment on reading packaging threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/intlshipping · 712 points · 1 year ago
Split one order across two months on purpose to compare summer and winter. Four days apart, same carrier, same route.
comment on [Question] FFMI — what am I missing here in c/glp1muscle · 28 points · 1 year ago
Three scans over eighteen months, same machine, same conditions. Only the third one made the first two interpretable.
comment on SURPASS — 15 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/trialwatch · 20 points · 1 year ago
STEP is semaglutide obesity, SURMOUNT is tirzepatide obesity, they are not interchangeable
Agreed. And the interval, not the point estimate, is what the trial actually established.
comment on how much of what we believe about endpoint actually comes from STEP threads in c/trialwatch · 54 points · 1 year ago
Went looking for the registered protocol to see whether the endpoint had changed. It had not, which was reassuring and worth checking.
comment on help me understand carrier, I have read the wiki twice in c/intlshipping · 49 points · 1 year ago
A quoted lead time is a commitment you can evaluate. Measuring quoted against actual across several orders tells you more about an operation than the raw speed does.

nothing on this board is a training or nutrition prescription
comment on [Question] DHL — what am I missing here in c/intlshipping · 21 points · 1 year ago
rigid outer packaging is the cheapest quality signal there is
comment on [Results] 39 weeks on 12.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/glp1muscle · 1 points · 1 year ago
Tracked grip strength and three lifts monthly. Cheaper than scanning and directionally the same answer.
comment on [PSA] shipping is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/intlshipping · 459 points · 1 year ago
How many shipments does your figure cover?
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify timeframe in c/progresspics · 215 points · 1 year ago
Rate of change is not a virtue. Slower trajectories are as durable as fast ones and are considerably better represented on this board than the front page suggests.
comment on help me understand lane, I have read the wiki twice in c/intlshipping · 225 points · 1 year ago
Push back: comparing a July transit with a February one on the same lane is not a comparison.
comment on help me understand lane, I have read the wiki twice in c/intlshipping · 245 points · 1 year ago
16 days on a lane quoted at 16 is the shape you want
comment on DHL — 21 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/intlshipping · -18 points · 2 years ago
summer and winter are different lanes with the same name
comment on [Results] 47 weeks on 0.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/glp1muscle · 0 points · 2 years ago
Correction: those scans are from different machines, and the difference you are describing is within the measurement error.
This is the whole intervention. Protein and resistance training.

Yes. Nobody here is prescribing training or nutrition and the good posts say so.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring milestone at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/progresspics · 54 points · 2 years ago
nobody owes anybody a starting weight

comment on reship — 8 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/intlshipping · 222 points · 2 years ago
Cosigning the seasonality point. February and August on the same lane are different animals.
