comment on 3 months in and triple agonist is still the thing I get wrong in c/retatrutide · 0 points · 1 year ago

Same read.

Disagree with this specific inference. A 48-week readout does not tell you the shape of the curve after it.

Research-use-only material is not approved for human use. Anything in this thread about how a research vial "should" titrate is a discussion about chemistry, not a plan.

Which phase 2 arm are you quoting, and at what week?

How fast was the escalation?

Substantial weight loss independently moves lipids, liver enzymes and several other markers. Attributing a change to a compound while losing weight is confounded by design.

SURMOUNT-1 landed around 21% at 72 weeks on the top arm

Small fix — a reference interval is not a treatment target, and the post above uses them interchangeably.

comment on [Lab] 2th independent test on BCH — 97.8% on a claimed 97.5%, and the trend is the interesting part in c/retatrutide · 845 points · 2 years ago

Small fix — three receptors, not two. GLP-1, GIP and glucagon, and the third one is the reason this compound gets its own board.

the TRIUMPH programme is still running, so anything definitive is premature

Same lab as the previous draw?

This. The phase 2 result was genuinely large and it was also 48 weeks in a few hundred people.

Right, and it bears repeating that nothing here is approved anywhere and research material is not for human use.

comparing reta phase 2 to sema phase 3 is comparing different things

Sent a vial to VendorInvestigate out of curiosity. Result was 99.4% against a claimed 98.5%, which is the first independent number I had seen for this compound anywhere.
