comment on [Meta] the EMS rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/intlshipping · 5 points · 9 months ago
declared value and description are the shipper’s decision, ask what they use
comment on [Discussion] the goal advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/progresspics · 100 points · 9 months ago
What are you actually celebrating today? Genuine question.
comment on [PSA] stability is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/coldchain · -29 points · 11 months ago
Ordered from the warehouse in the Netherlands instead of origin and the transit went from a fortnight to 4 days. Entirely different proposition in August.
comment on [Meta] the beginner rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/newbiequestions · 3 points · 11 months ago
Same. The injection was the thing I was most nervous about and the thing that turned out to matter least.
comment on reship — 19 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/intlshipping · 186 points · 11 months ago
no tracking numbers, ever
comment on ice pack — 19 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/coldchain · 122 points · 1 year ago
Gel pack fully liquid on arrival, powder tested 98.0% against a claimed 97.5% afterwards. The pack had done its job for as long as it was designed to.
comment on [Question] Canada — has anyone got a straight answer on carrier in c/intlshipping · 9 points · 1 year ago
Yes — regional stock is the single biggest variable and it barely gets mentioned outside this board.

if you want to know, log it, otherwise you are guessing
This is the distinction that resolves most threads here — powder and solution are different problems.
comment on the progress thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/progresspics · 364 points · 1 year ago
A goal weight chosen before starting is a prediction made with the least information you will ever have. Revising it is ordinary rather than a failure.
comment on [Results] 24 weeks on 12.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/glp1women · 17 points · 1 year ago
Started logging the cycle in the same sheet as the dose.
Disagreeing with this line: the absorption question has a product-specific answer and a pharmacist has it.
comment on does beginner actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/newbiequestions · 1 points · 1 year ago
a COA is a certificate of analysis, the lab document for a batch
comment on goal — my 23-week log, condensed into one table in c/progresspics · 29 points · 1 year ago
Same. Comparison ruined about three months for me until I stopped reading the fastest posts.
comment on why does nobody talk about lane in c/intlshipping · 3 points · 1 year ago
origin, destination, carrier, month — post all four or the report is noise
comment on my fasting insulin moved and I cannot work out whether contraception is why in c/glp1women · 4 points · 1 year ago
Careful — anything touching pregnancy is not a board question in any form.
comment on [Vendor] WXT order #15 — Germany, 12 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/coldchain · 1 points · 1 year ago
the excursion that matters is the one after reconstitution
comment on does goal actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/progresspics · 21 points · 1 year ago
the timeframe matters as much as the number
comment on insulin resistance — my 21-week log, condensed into one table in c/glp1women · 4 points · 1 year ago
PCOS and insulin resistance are the thread that runs through this board
comment on insulin resistance — my 21-week log, condensed into one table in c/glp1women · 23 points · 1 year ago
ask a clinician about anything involving pregnancy, without exception
comment on help me understand basics, I have read the wiki twice in c/newbiequestions · 12 points · 2 years ago
Appetite change and weight change are different measurements on different timescales. The first is usually noticed first and the second lags it.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring milestone at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/progresspics · 83 points · 2 years ago
Yes. Clothes fitting differently arrives well before the scale acknowledges anything.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for cold chain posts in c/coldchain · 1 points · 2 years ago
Right, and asking what the stability statement was written against is one line of email that reframes everything.
comment on does lyophilised actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/coldchain · -28 points · 2 years ago
How many days in transit, and which month?
comment on the basics question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/newbiequestions · 92 points · 2 years ago
the starting dose is not meant to be the dose that works
comment on someone explain ice pack to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/coldchain · 76 points · 2 years ago
Agreed, and a logger costs less than the vial you are worrying about.
Disagreeing with this line only: freezing a reconstituted vial is not a safe default.

comment on does reship actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/intlshipping · 10 points · 2 years ago
Median transit is the useful statistic. The minimum is a story about one shipment and the mean is dragged around by a single hold.
