Gently disagree with the framing — that is not a plateau, that is a month. They are different things.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify Australia in c/glp1aus · 10 points · 4 months ago
Registration by the therapeutic goods regulator establishes that a product may be supplied. Subsidy listing is a separate decision about public funding, with its own criteria and its own timetable.

axis labels or the trace is decoration
Disagreeing with this bit: that spread is ordinary inter-lab variance, not a disagreement about the material.

Can you post the trace with the axes labelled?
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for integration posts in c/hplc · 76 points · 4 months ago
Small fix — 214nm, not 210. It matters for the comparison you are making with the other run.
comment on genuine question about moderation that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/meta · 1 points · 4 months ago
Agreed. Publishing the ranking formula is the difference between a feed and a black box, and it costs nothing to do.
comment on anyone else notice fatigue kicking in around week 46 in c/sideeffects · 100 points · 4 months ago
That symptom is not the one being described upthread. Two different things with similar names and the answers are not interchangeable.
comment on someone explain gas fees to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/cryptopay · 7 points · 4 months ago
Did the address you sent to match the one you were given, character for character?
comment on [Question] is 97.9% actually fine or am I being sold a rounding error in c/retatrutide · 327 points · 4 months ago
Independent purity testing on this compound is thin compared with the older molecules, simply because fewer members have paid for it. Fewer results means wider uncertainty, not a verdict.
comment on [Discussion] USDC is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/cryptopay · 3 points · 5 months ago
The sequence that makes this boring, which is the goal.
Ask which networks are accepted before you order. Pick the one with a sensible fee at that hour. Paste the address rather than typing it and verify the first and last several characters. Check whether the chain requires a memo. Send a test amount if the total is large. Wait for confirmations before treating anything as done. Save the transaction hash with the order reference.
Seven steps, most of them seconds long, and between them they eliminate every failure mode that gets posted on this board.
comment on [Results] 35 weeks on 2.4mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/glp1women · 1 points · 5 months ago
Fertility can change with weight loss and improved insulin sensitivity. That is a well-described phenomenon and worth knowing about in advance rather than discovering.
comment on [Results] 88 weeks on 2.4mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/retatrutide · 237 points · 5 months ago
What the glucagon arm is doing, as best anyone can say from public data.
GLP-1 and GIP agonism cover appetite and insulin secretion in ways that are now reasonably well characterised. Glucagon receptor agonism is the third leg and it is associated with increased energy expenditure and with effects on hepatic fat.
Mechanistically that is why this compound reads as a different proposition rather than a stronger version of a dual agonist. Clinically, the size and durability of that difference in humans is precisely what is not yet established, and anyone telling you otherwise is filling a gap with confidence.

Severe, or unpleasant? They are genuinely different questions and the answers diverge.
comment on Poland: shortage, and what it actually costs here in c/glp1aus · 77 points · 5 months ago
Australia and New Zealand have different regulators, different funding bodies and different arrangements. An answer for one is not evidence about the other.

Agreed on the no-names rule.
This is the check that catches most of it, and it takes under a minute.

Wrote down one non-scale thing every week. Reading a year of those back was more affecting than any number.
comment on switched from 0.25mg to 2.4mg and fatigue got better, not worse in c/sideeffects · 25 points · 6 months ago
On buying things to fix side effects, which I did extensively and would not do again.
The interventions that changed anything for me were all behavioural and free: smaller meals, eating slower, stopping food a few hours before sleep, more fibre and considerably more water. The things I bought did nothing I could detect, and I was motivated to detect something.
The other lever, which people forget, is time at dose. Holding rather than stepping is a legitimate plan and it fixed my tolerance where nothing else did.
comment on switched from 0.25mg to 2.4mg and fatigue got better, not worse in c/sideeffects · 18 points · 6 months ago
Constipation is mostly reduced intake plus reduced fluid, not a direct effect. That is why the boring fibre and water answer keeps working.

a streamlined authority code is not the same as a general listing
comment on week 53 check-in — 10kg down, fatigue manageable, one thing confusing me in c/darkspot · 4 points · 6 months ago
Buying small from an unfamiliar supplier and testing before committing is the single procedural change that would have prevented the largest share of financial losses described on this board.

comment on [Results] 25 weeks, 12kg, and contraception was the hard part in c/glp1women · 11 points · 9 months ago
Anything involving pregnancy, contraception efficacy or fertility planning belongs with a clinician. That is not a disclaimer, it is where the answers actually are.

Agreed — somebody is at exactly the point you were at, reading this, and it will land differently for them than any success story.

comment on someone explain cloned site to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/scamalerts · 0 points · 10 months ago
Cloned storefronts copy assets, layout and testimonial text. What they cannot easily copy is a batch-specific document that ties to a lot you can then have tested independently.
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about contraception in c/glp1women · 17 points · 10 months ago
Disagree — that is a general claim about absorption and the specific question needs a pharmacist rather than a board.

Contemporaneous notes matter most in exactly the situations where people are least inclined to write them. Memory reorganises a bad fortnight into a tidier story with a clearer villain.
comment on what changed for me between month 2 and month 9 in c/sideeffects · 2 points · 11 months ago
This. A bad fortnight after a step is expected. A bad quarter is a reason to talk to somebody who knows your history.

ask for a batch-specific document before you send anything
Disagreeing here: that is a delay, and this board has to keep delay and intent in separate columns.

What did system suitability look like on that sequence?
