small win: non-scale victory stopped being a problem at week 46
Check-in as promised in the title: small win: non-scale victory stopped being a problem at week 46.
Stopped reading the fastest posts here for a month and my mood improved considerably.
Nobody noticed for months. Then several people noticed in the same fortnight, which was strange and quite nice.
Screenshot none of this. Read the whole thread, including the parts where I am told I am wrong.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Body weight varies by a couple of kilos day to day through fluid, glycogen and gut content, which is why a single weigh-in is noise and a fortnightly trend is signal.
Small correction, kindly meant: that is a range rather than a regain. Weight moves day to day in everybody.
goal weights chosen at week one are usually guesses
What timeframe is that over?
a plateau is not a failure and it is not a personality
nobody owes anybody a starting weight
Wrote down one non-scale thing every week. Reading a year of those back was more affecting than any number.
12kg over 11 months and honestly the most useful marker was that stairs stopped being a decision.
the timeframe matters as much as the number
Careful — that reads as advice about what someone else should do, and this board is for describing your own.
