Regainbranch of 8 comments

The title is the argument: lowest effective dose — 2 things I got wrong before I got it right. Here is the rest of it. Stretched from seven to ten days and then to twelve over about four months. Appetite told me where the limit was before the scale did. Been at maintenance for 17 months on 12.5mg. Nothing happens.…

Agreed. Lowest effective dose is the actual maintenance question and it gets almost no airtime next to the escalation threads.

Agreed that a few kilos of drift is ordinary. Weight is not a fixed number even for people who have never taken anything.

Wrote down what maintenance would look like at about week 62, before I needed it. Having decided in advance made the transition boring.

About c/maintenancephase

The part nobody posts about: what happens at goal weight. Finding a lowest effective dose, dose-interval stretching, regain risk data, muscle retention, the psychology of not having a number to chase, and staying on indefinitely versus tapering.

c/maintenancephase rules
  1. State how long you have been at maintenance. "Maintenance" at week 30 is not maintenance.
  2. Regain is not a moral failing and posts implying it is get removed.
  3. Dose-stretching experiences welcome; dose-stretching instructions are not.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
