Which programme and which readout are you quoting?

do not assume reconstitution intuitions apply, there is nothing to reconstitute

comment on three years of ranking threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/meta · 110 points · 9 months ago

evidence rules are strict here on purpose

comment on does New Zealand actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/glp1aus · 0 points · 9 months ago

Did the pharmacy check with the wholesaler, or is that a shelf observation?

permalink

comment on help me understand rodent data, I have read the wiki twice in c/bpc157 · 12 points · 9 months ago

Agreed — cheap to make is a double-edged fact and it explains a lot about this corner of the market.

permalink

comment on 3 months in and regulatory is still the thing I get wrong in c/bpc157 · 53 points · 10 months ago

Push back: "no reported harms" in a literature with almost no human trials is not a safety finding.

comment on oral GLP-1 — 12 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/orforglipron · 8 points · 10 months ago

Analytically this is a small-molecule identity and purity problem, not a peptide one. The methods, the impurity classes and the reference standards are all different.

consistent conditions or you are logging noise

permalink

comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for New Zealand posts in c/glp1aus · 4 points · 11 months ago

Where to look instead of asking, which will nearly always be faster.

nl_verzekering is right that the two countries are separate systems and the answers diverge.

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about regulatory until somebody posts a number in c/bpc157 · 38 points · 11 months ago

Paid for identity confirmation rather than just purity for the first time here. Worth it, and it is not the default on most certificates.

Reconstituted or powder, and how long has it been in solution?

no clinical trial has established what these threads assert

permalink

comment on the meta thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/meta · 5 points · 11 months ago

Cosigning on the no-links rule. It is the only reason the pricing threads are trustworthy.

comment on 5 months in and dose escalation is still the thing I get wrong in c/retatrutide · -31 points · 1 year ago

Which phase 2 arm are you quoting, and at what week?

permalink

comment on how much of what we believe about appetite return actually comes from regain threads in c/tapering · 5 points · 1 year ago

stopping is a plan, not an event

permalink

comment on tried triple agonist for 19 weeks. here is what happened. in c/retatrutide · 2 points · 1 year ago

That reads as a titration plan for an unapproved compound. This board cannot host that and it should not want to.

permalink

comment on [Results] 24 weeks on 12.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/glp1women · 1 points · 1 year ago

say what you are actually asking, the vocabulary here is imprecise

permalink

comment on genuine question about TRIUMPH that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/retatrutide · 177 points · 1 year ago

How fast was the escalation? That is usually the variable that explains the reports.

permalink

comment on tendon: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/bpc157 · 19 points · 1 year ago

Correction: that study was in rodents. Worth stating explicitly since the thread has been reading it as clinical.

permalink

comment on does dose history actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/dosinglogs · 110 points · 1 year ago

A log is a record of what you did. It is not a protocol, and posting one as a schedule for other members is a different thing that this board does not do.

permalink

comment on what changed for me between month 3 and month 6 in c/orforglipron · 24 points · 1 year ago

daily dosing, not weekly, so the exposure profile is different

permalink

comment on [Lab] 9th independent test on QYB — 97.7% on a claimed 97.0%, and the trend is the interesting part in c/retatrutide · -31 points · 1 year ago

This. The phase 2 result was genuinely large and it was also 48 weeks in a few hundred people.

permalink

comment on [Question] DEXA — what am I missing here in c/glp1muscle · 0 points · 1 year ago

Not convinced by that DEXA comparison.

Adding the free proxy — track a few lifts monthly. It costs nothing and it is longitudinal.

comment on BPC-157 is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/bpc157 · 48 points · 1 year ago

Paid for identity confirmation rather than just purity for the first time here. Worth it, and it is not the default on most certificates.

permalink

comment on dose escalation — my 16-week log, condensed into one table in c/retatrutide · 130 points · 1 year ago

triple agonist — GLP-1, GIP and glucagon, and the glucagon arm is the new part

permalink

comment on dose escalation — my 16-week log, condensed into one table in c/retatrutide · 22 points · 1 year ago

Which phase 2 arm are you quoting, and at what week?

permalink

comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for tapering posts in c/tapering · 248 points · 1 year ago

Disagree with the framing. Regain is the documented outcome after discontinuation; calling it a personal failure is both wrong and corrosive.

permalink

comment on reading New Zealand threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1aus · 52 points · 1 year ago

Small fix — that is the New Zealand arrangement, and the question is about Australia.

permalink

comment on switched from 5mg to 10mg and nausea got better, not worse in c/tapering · 55 points · 1 year ago

Withdrawal studies across this class consistently show substantial regain after discontinuation, with appetite typically returning before weight changes. That is a description of the pharmacology of a chronic condition.

comment on sequence — 10 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/bpc157 · 77 points · 1 year ago

read the actual papers, they are more modest than the summaries

permalink

comment on [Lab] WXT reta — PeptideMeter came back 97.7% against a claimed 97.0% in c/retatrutide · 144 points · 1 year ago

Disagree. "More receptors means more effect" is not how any of this works and the trial data does not support the linear story.

permalink

comment on small win: dose history stopped being a problem at week 6 in c/dosinglogs · 61 points · 1 year ago

Disagree with daily weighing. You are logging fluid, and the emotional cost is real for very little information.

permalink

comment on shortage is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/glp1aus · 29 points · 1 year ago

Personal importation provisions exist, are narrow, and carry conditions.

Adding the quickest step — ask the pharmacist to check the wholesaler.

permalink

comment on how much of what we believe about ACHIEVE actually comes from ATTAIN threads in c/orforglipron · 4 points · 1 year ago

Small fix — the two programme names got swapped upthread and it changes which population the figure came from.

permalink

comment on is it normal to get early fullness at week 64 in c/retatrutide · 35 points · 1 year ago

Right, and it bears repeating that nothing here is approved anywhere and research material is not for human use.

permalink

comment on my TSH moved and I cannot work out whether ACHIEVE is why in c/orforglipron · 17 points · 1 year ago

Disagree. You are comparing doses across a small molecule and a peptide, which is not a comparison of anything.
