comment on [Pricing] AU pharmacy pricing, six months, three states in c/glp1aus · 1 points · 2 days ago

Small fix — that is the New Zealand arrangement, and the question is about Australia.

Agreed that the published criteria are the authority.

Disagreeing with this bit: that advice predates the change in compounded arrangements.

comment on [COA] what does "related substances 1.4%" actually mean for my vial in c/coa · 6 points · 12 days ago

Yes — and the reason to ask for the whole page is that the interesting parts are the ones people crop out to fit a screenshot.

LC-MS gives you identity; UV purity gives you a relative quantity. A document with the first and not the second, or the reverse, is answering half the question.

A written baseline — dose, date, weight, waist, and how appetite feels — taken before any change is what makes the following months interpretable rather than a series of impressions.

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify batch in c/labresults · 2 points · 3 months ago

Have now spent more on testing than on some of the orders. No regrets — the log is the reason I can buy without agonising.

Split one vial between Medutest and Janoshik. The two numbers were within half a point of each other and I stopped worrying about which lab to trust.

Disagree that this is a discrepancy. 99.6% against a claimed 99.0% is inside ordinary inter-lab variance in either direction.

Related substances itemised individually is a much stronger document than a single total, because it tells you the shape of the impurity profile rather than its size.

Sent one vial to PeptideMeter and VendorInvestigate. 98.0% and a claimed 97.5%. Cost me more than the vial and I would do it again.

Assumed the New Zealand position applied here. It does not, and someone corrected me politely with the actual source.

the Medsafe position in New Zealand is its own thing entirely

Cosigning. The batch identifier is load-bearing, and a certificate that cannot be tied to the vial in your hand is not about your vial.

Right, and net peptide content is where the counterion and the water go. Both numbers can be honest and very different.

My first certificate had a compound name, a percentage and a logo. I thought that was normal. It is not, and now I know what to ask for.

What does the method line actually say? Not the technique — the column and the gradient.

Small fix — you have described interval stretching and called it a taper. The exposure profiles differ.

That is a pause rather than a stop, and the plans for the two are not the same.
