comment on [Failure] gel pack arrived liquid and warm. photos at unboxing. in c/coldchain · 1 points · 4 days ago
Agreed. The dry powder is the robust state; it is the solution that needs the care.
comment on [Regret] went 0.25 → 1.0 in three weeks and learned why that is dumb in c/darkspot · 11 points · 8 days ago
I would not generalise from one bad month to a rule. The rest of your process sounds fine.
comment on [Regret] went 0.25 → 1.0 in three weeks and learned why that is dumb in c/darkspot · 11 points · 8 days ago
Not convinced that was avoidable. Some of this is genuinely bad luck and treating everything as a lesson is its own trap.
comment on [Resolved] accused the wrong vendor. it was my storage. correcting it. in c/darkspot · 37 points · 1 months ago
Most of what gets posted here is procedural rather than dramatic: a step skipped, a document not requested, a temperature not considered, a pace chosen out of impatience.
comment on [Results] 37 weeks on 15mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/t2dglp1 · 4 points · 1 months ago
Kept fingersticks alongside the sensor for two weeks to sanity-check it. Worth doing once.
comment on New Zealand: shortage, and what it actually costs here in c/glp1aus · 28 points · 1 months ago
keep the script and the receipt for private health claims
comment on [PSA] hypoglycaemia is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/t2dglp1 · 5 points · 1 months ago
Correction: that trial is the diabetes programme and the figure you quoted is its glycaemic endpoint, not a weight result.
comment on [Discussion] cold chain is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/coldchain · 11 points · 1 months ago
I would not freeze it in solution. That is a different failure mode and a worse one.
comment on dose stretching: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/maintenancephase · 6 points · 2 months ago
the goal weight you picked at week 1 was a guess
This reframing is the most useful thing on the board for anyone approaching this phase.
comment on dose stretching: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/maintenancephase · 24 points · 2 months ago
Maintenance is the phase with the least published guidance and the most individual variation, which is precisely why board consensus here is worth less than usual.
comment on the excursion thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/coldchain · 2 points · 2 months ago
What was the packaging — rigid outer, gel packs, anything insulating?
comment on the excursion thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/coldchain · 29 points · 2 months ago
a summer lane and a winter lane are different lanes
comment on why does nobody talk about dual agonist in c/survodutide · 1 points · 2 months ago
That figure is from the obesity programme, and this thread is about the hepatic one.
comment on am I the only one who found long term harder than the injections in c/maintenancephase · 167 points · 3 months ago
What does your weigh-in frequency look like at this point?
comment on the long term thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 3 months ago
The habits from the losing phase are what carry it now. That is not inspirational, it is just what happened.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for long term posts in c/maintenancephase · 13 points · 3 months ago
This. The withdrawal data is not ambiguous and framing regain as a personal failure is both wrong and cruel.
comment on stalled for 14 weeks at 12.5mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/darkspot · -22 points · 3 months ago
this board exists so the failures are on the record too
comment on anyone else notice failure kicking in around week 21 in c/darkspot · 36 points · 3 months ago
going up too fast is the most repeated regret on this board
comment on the MASH thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/survodutide · 55 points · 4 months ago
this board is small because the compound is early
comment on stalled for 8 weeks at 1.7mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/survodutide · 121 points · 5 months ago
Independent purity results for this compound are very sparse across the whole site, which means any impression about consistency is built on almost nothing.
comment on three years of survodutide threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/survodutide · 56 points · 5 months ago
Phase 2 in a biopsy-confirmed population is a demanding design: recruitment is slow, the population is specific, and the results do not generalise to people who have not been characterised that way.
comment on TGA — 24 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/glp1aus · 1 points · 5 months ago
Registration by the therapeutic goods regulator establishes that a product may be supplied. Subsidy listing is a separate decision about public funding, with its own criteria and its own timetable.
comment on 5 months in and failure is still the thing I get wrong in c/darkspot · 1 points · 6 months ago
Not convinced that was avoidable. Some of this is genuinely bad luck and treating everything as a lesson is its own trap.
comment on does data logger actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/coldchain · 121 points · 7 months ago
A transit temperature logger records a distribution, and time above a threshold matters as much as peak temperature. That is the argument for logging rather than guessing.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about T2D until somebody posts a number in c/t2dglp1 · 25 points · 8 months ago
Kept fingersticks alongside the sensor for two weeks to sanity-check it. Worth doing once.
comment on week 45 check-in — 8kg down, sulphur burps manageable, one thing confusing me in c/maintenancephase · -15 points · 8 months ago
the habits are the part that has to outlive the dose
comment on [Question] New Zealand — has anyone got a straight answer on shortage in c/glp1aus · 9 points · 8 months ago
Asked the pharmacist to check the wholesaler and had a definite answer in about four minutes.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring dose stretching at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 8 months ago
What does your weigh-in frequency look like at this point?
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring dose stretching at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/maintenancephase · 89 points · 8 months ago
regain after stopping is the expected outcome, not a personal failure
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about New Zealand until somebody posts a number in c/glp1aus · 3 points · 9 months ago
Same. Private pricing varies here as much as anywhere and people assume it is fixed.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about New Zealand until somebody posts a number in c/glp1aus · 1 points · 9 months ago
Correction: that is the registration decision, not the subsidy listing. They are made by different bodies.
comment on does regain actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/maintenancephase · 6 points · 9 months ago
What does your weigh-in frequency look like at this point?
comment on [Discussion] the packaging advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/coldchain · 14 points · 9 months ago
That is a lane problem rather than a packaging problem, and the fixes are different.
comment on the regain thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/maintenancephase · -11 points · 10 months ago
maintenance is where the logistics finally get boring, which is the point
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify data logger in c/coldchain · 15 points · 10 months ago
regional stock removes most of this problem entirely
comment on [Discussion] MASH is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/survodutide · 3 points · 11 months ago
Yes — histological endpoints are a far harder bar than the surrogate measures people are used to quoting.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for New Zealand posts in c/glp1aus · 1 points · 11 months ago
Pharmacy-level availability and national supply are different questions: a pharmacy can be out while the wholesaler is not, and the pharmacist can check in minutes.
comment on [Results] 28 weeks on 10mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/survodutide · 28 points · 11 months ago
independent testing on this compound is very thin
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about CGM in c/t2dglp1 · 19 points · 1 year ago
I would not compare your numbers to that population. Different baseline, different regimen, different trial.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify biopsy in c/survodutide · 73 points · 1 year ago
not approved anywhere, and the boards forget that constantly
