we are measuring milestone at the wrong time and calling it noise, and I am aware this is a minority view on this board. Stalled for 20 weeks and measured my waist out…

comment on someone explain progress to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/progresspics · 117 points · 1 year ago
This. Waist measurement kept moving through my longest stall and it was the only thing that kept me sane.
comment on goal — my 3-week log, condensed into one table in c/progresspics · 38 points · 1 year ago
Nobody noticed for months. Then several people noticed in the same fortnight, which was strange and quite nice.
comment on genuine question about maintenance that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 1 year ago
the trials that looked at withdrawal are unambiguous about what follows
comment on does goal actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/progresspics · 1 points · 1 year ago
the clothes change before the number does
comment on reading oral GLP-1 threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/orforglipron · 31 points · 1 year ago
Analytically this is a small-molecule identity and purity problem, not a peptide one. The methods, the impurity classes and the reference standards are all different.
comment on the disclosure question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/meta · 15 points · 1 year ago
Vendor source pages carry an outbound link to the supplier’s own storefront, marked nofollow and sponsored, disclosed on the page and again on the funding page. Nothing is received for it.
comment on [Meta] the TB-500 rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/researchpeptides · 257 points · 2 years ago
Not convinced. A purity figure without a stated method is not comparable to one that has a method attached.

Correcting my own post above — that was week 69, not the week I wrote. Same story, wrong number.

Careful — that reads as advice about what someone else should do, and this board is for describing your own.
This is the one I would put in the sidebar. The middle is where everyone lives.

What timeframe is that over?

Weighing under consistent conditions — same time, same state, same scale — removes most of the apparent variability people find distressing.

Rate of change is not a virtue.
line_demir is right that the clothes tell you before the scale does.
comment on my hs-CRP moved and I cannot work out whether dose stretching is why in c/maintenancephase · 110 points · 2 years ago
Withdrawal studies in this class consistently show substantial regain after discontinuation.
Disagreeing with this bit: a two-kilo range is not drift and treating it as a problem creates one.
comment on [Question] small molecule — what am I missing here in c/orforglipron · 29 points · 2 years ago
Careful — purity methods for peptides do not read across to a small molecule and the numbers are not equivalent.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about ATTAIN until somebody posts a number in c/orforglipron · -2 points · 2 years ago
Yes — nothing containing this is approved anywhere, and the threads keep forgetting it.
comment on [Results] 30 weeks on 1.7mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/maintenancephase · 99 points · 2 years ago
Yes — interval stretching and dose reduction are different levers and people use the words interchangeably.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for wiki posts in c/meta · 2 points · 2 years ago
That is the controversial ordering, not the hot one. Different formula, different behaviour.
