comment on how much of what we believe about gradient actually comes from purity threads in c/hplc · 253 points · 1 year ago
system suitability before you believe any number on the run
comment on [Discussion] mg/mL is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/reconstitution · -32 points · 2 years ago
the number you write down is the number you will trust at 6am
comment on switched from 7.5mg to 10mg and injection-site soreness got better, not worse in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 2 years ago
Withdrawal studies in this class consistently show substantial regain after discontinuation.
Adding one thing — decide what maintenance looks like before you arrive at it.
comment on purity is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/coa · 592 points · 2 years ago
Related substances itemised individually is a much stronger document than a single total, because it tells you the shape of the impurity profile rather than its size.
comment on lowest effective dose — 2 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/maintenancephase · 57 points · 2 years ago
Agreed that a few kilos of drift is ordinary. Weight is not a fixed number even for people who have never taken anything.
comment on [Results] 30 weeks on 1.7mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/maintenancephase · 238 points · 2 years ago
Correction: that trial measured regain after withdrawal, not failure of the drug during treatment. Very different claim.
comment on do gas fees actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/cryptopay · -11 points · 2 years ago
Confirmation took forty minutes on a busy evening and I had already written half an angry message. Deleted it.
comment on [Discussion] the related substances advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/coa · 110 points · 2 years ago
I would not read a rounded figure as evasive. Plenty of documents round to one decimal as house style.
comment on how much of what we believe about reconstitution actually comes from concentration threads in c/reconstitution · 1 points · 2 years ago
Shook the first vial because nobody told me not to. It was fine, but I have swirled every one since.
comment on chromatogram is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/hplc · 67 points · 2 years ago
baseline choice is a decision, not a measurement
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about water content is guesswork in c/coa · 1 points · 2 years ago
ask for the storage condition the stability statement was written against
comment on [Vendor] WXT vs JEEP on the same compound, same month — both cleared 97.0% in c/coa · 2.8k points · 2 years ago
Net peptide content is the fraction of the powder that is actually peptide once counterion, water and residual solvent are accounted for. A 99% pure acetate salt can still be about 85% peptide by mass.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about HPLC until somebody posts a number in c/hplc · 235 points · 2 years ago
Agreed, and it is why WXT printing the column and gradient on the certificate is genuinely useful rather than decorative.
comment on reading concentration threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/reconstitution · 58 points · 2 years ago
the number you write down is the number you will trust at 6am

the lot on the vial has to match the lot on the page
