Same. Monthly is plenty at this stage and daily weighing made me miserable for no information gain.
comment on [Question] New Zealand — has anyone got a straight answer on lane in c/intlshipping · 24 points · 3 months ago
Small fix — shipped from the regional warehouse, not from origin, which is why the number looks unusual.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about lyophilised until somebody posts a number in c/coldchain · 47 points · 3 months ago
Left up and added to the lane table. Origin, destination and month were all included, which is all we ask.
comment on genuine question about stability that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/coldchain · -37 points · 3 months ago
Lyophilisation removes the water that drives most degradation pathways. That is why the dry cake is comparatively robust and the reconstituted solution is not.

Tracking number redacted. It identifies both ends of a shipment and that rule has no exceptions.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring packaging at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/intlshipping · 0 points · 3 months ago
A lane is an origin, a destination, a carrier and a season. Change any one and the distribution changes, which is why supplier-level shipping averages are close to meaningless.
comment on [Discussion] the DHL advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/intlshipping · 116 points · 4 months ago
Not convinced by four data points. That is not a lane yet, it is an anecdote with a route attached.
comment on does PeptideMeter actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/vendorvetting · 1 points · 4 months ago
Why the directory has two tiers, since the question comes up whenever somebody new finds it.
Twenty suppliers have enough independent results, over enough separate lots, over enough time, that the log says something. Those get a page, a test table and a link to their own storefront so you can compare their claims with the record.
The rest — nearly two hundred names — get a row, a band and a report count. Not because they are bad, but because two results is an anecdote about a vial. Manufacturing a score out of that would make the whole directory worthless, and the contrast is the point.
comment on week 95 check-in — 48kg down, nausea manageable, one thing confusing me in c/maintenancephase · 97 points · 4 months ago
What maintenance actually looks like, from the people on this board who have been in it longest.
You find a dose or an interval that holds the weight with side effects you barely notice, and then you stop optimising. Weigh monthly rather than daily. Expect a couple of kilos of range and do not act on it. Keep the habits that did the work in the losing phase, because they are the part that has to outlive the dose.
The most common mistake described here is treating arrival as a plateau and pushing the dose to chase a number chosen at week one by a person who did not yet know what maintenance felt like.

That claim traces back to a single preclinical paper that says something considerably narrower.

Cosigning the escalation point.
Adding the standing caveat: none of this is approved anywhere and research material is not for human use.

Bought small because the evidence base is early. That is the only defensible position I could construct.

Retitled: the original asserted degradation the post does not evidence.

Not sure that follows. You went up a step and changed your training in the same fortnight.

comment on carrier — 23 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/intlshipping · 50 points · 5 months ago
Clearance took three days and the carrier took nine. I had been blaming the wrong half for two years.
comment on phase 2 — 18 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/retatrutide · 9 points · 5 months ago
Agreed, and the framing that helps is: this is a phase 2 compound with phase 3 running. Everything else is inference.
comment on Spain: cold chain, and what it actually costs here in c/coldchain · 16 points · 5 months ago
Careful. "The cold chain failed" is a strong claim and the evidence you have is a warm box.

SURMOUNT-1 ran 72 weeks with the top arm around 21% mean body weight change. SURPASS is the diabetes programme and reports glycaemic endpoints, so quoting the two interchangeably is a category error.

Stretched from seven to ten days and then to twelve over about four months. Appetite told me where the limit was before the scale did.

comment on [Question] is 98.0% actually fine or am I being sold a rounding error in c/vendorvetting · 20 points · 6 months ago
Six orders across two years from KP. Same packaging, same paperwork, same lead time. The most boring supplier relationship I have and I mean that as praise.
comment on [Question] is 98.0% actually fine or am I being sold a rounding error in c/vendorvetting · 58 points · 6 months ago
Inter-lab variance on this assay runs a point or two either way. Two services disagreeing by that much is agreement, not a discrepancy, and treating it otherwise starts pointless arguments.
comment on genuine question about vendor that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/vendorvetting · 47 points · 7 months ago
Evidence rules for this board are in the sidebar and they are strict on purpose. A claim about a supplier needs a document, a date or a service behind it.
comment on someone explain vendor to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/vendorvetting · 1 points · 7 months ago
The wider-market rows in the directory carry a band and a report count and nothing else, deliberately. Anything more would be manufacturing precision that the evidence does not support.

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify EMS in c/intlshipping · 220 points · 8 months ago
Where the time actually goes, which I got wrong for two years.
Total transit is first mile, international leg, customs clearance and last mile. I had been attributing everything to the international leg because that is the part with the exotic-sounding name.
When I finally logged the stages separately, the international leg was the most consistent part of the whole journey. The variance was in clearance and in the domestic delivery at my end — neither of which the supplier controls. That reframed how I read every lane report on this board, and it is why the table separates the stages.

This. Biopsy-confirmed and imaging-suggested are different evidentiary categories and get run together constantly.

Research-use-only material is not approved for human use. In this board that is not a formality — it is the reason the clinical evidence base is as thin as it is.

This.
Disagreeing with this line only: freezing a reconstituted vial is not a safe default.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify data logger in c/coldchain · 79 points · 10 months ago
That is a lane problem rather than a packaging problem, and the fixes are different.
Adding the practical version: ask which lines are held regionally before you order in July.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about long term until somebody posts a number in c/maintenancephase · 0 points · 11 months ago
Dose reduction and interval extension are different interventions. Halving the dose keeps the rhythm and lowers the level; stretching keeps the level and lowers the frequency, with a lower trough.
