comment on [Question] how do you actually verify protein in c/glp1muscle · 1 points · 10 months ago
I would not change the programme on the strength of one scan. The measurement error is larger than the effect you are reacting to.
comment on genuine question about NHS that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/glp1uk · 1 points · 11 months ago
private and NHS pathways are not a ladder, they are separate routes

a shortage in one member state is not a shortage in all of them

private pricing varies enormously between neighbouring countries

the Irish scheme cap is the single most useful fact in this board

The two routes, described separately, because mixing them is where most of the confusion here starts.
Disagreeing with this line: that is the arrangement in one nation and the question is about another.
comment on someone explain UK to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/glp1uk · 2 points · 1 year ago
Correction: that threshold is your ICB’s, not a national one. They differ and they change by year.
comment on the NHS thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/glp1uk · 37 points · 1 year ago
Two years and four months on a tier 3 list. Referral date and every letter kept, which turned out to matter when the service reorganised.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for UK posts in c/glp1uk · 232 points · 1 year ago
Yes — four nations, four pathways, and threads that ignore that give people the wrong answer confidently.
comment on [Results] 39 weeks on 12.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/glp1muscle · 4 points · 1 year ago
Disagree — slower loss does not automatically preserve lean mass.
Disagreeing with this line: rate alone does not preserve lean mass. The training does.
comment on three years of week one threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/newbiequestions · 99 points · 1 year ago
Nothing on this board is medical advice, and the people answering you — including me — are members with spreadsheets rather than clinicians.

What does the wiki page on this say — genuinely asking, not deflecting?
comment on the reimbursement thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/glp1eu · 93 points · 1 year ago
Cosigning on cross-border prescriptions. The rules exist and they are narrower than the summaries suggest.
comment on [Results] 15 weeks on 0.25mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/tapering · 5 points · 1 year ago
Yes — the withdrawal literature is consistent and it is a pharmacological finding, not a moral one.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring regain at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/tapering · 87 points · 1 year ago
Removed the taper schedule written for another member.
Adding the one process step — write down where you are before you change anything.

Has the appetite changed, even if the scale has not?

the EMA authorises, member states decide who pays
comment on three years of Apotheke threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/glp1eu · 66 points · 1 year ago
Not convinced — cross-border prescription recognition is narrower than you are describing and the exceptions matter.

comment on help me understand half-life, I have read the wiki twice in c/glp1science · 0 points · 2 years ago
Careful — you have a plausible mechanism and no evidence that it is the operative one in the case you are describing.
comment on help me understand basics, I have read the wiki twice in c/newbiequestions · 8 points · 2 years ago
search first, but a repeat question is not a crime
Adding the one habit worth starting today: write the concentration on the vial.
comment on does receptor actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/glp1science · 7 points · 2 years ago
Went looking for human data on a mechanism everybody here asserts. Found preclinical work and one small study. That was clarifying.
comment on the Apotheke thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/glp1eu · 15 points · 2 years ago
the reimbursement criteria are published in most member states
comment on three years of receptor threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/glp1science · 45 points · 2 years ago
Correction: that is glucose-dependent insulin secretion, which is why hypoglycaemia risk is low as monotherapy. Not the same claim as you made.
