Yes. Buy small first. It is the cheapest lesson on the site and it keeps being learned the expensive way.

Contemporaneous or reconstructed?

origin, destination, carrier, month — post all four or the report is noise

comment on 3 months in and triple agonist is still the thing I get wrong in c/retatrutide · 513 points · 1 year ago

It is a triple agonist at the GLP-1, GIP and glucagon receptors. The glucagon arm is the genuinely novel component and it is the one with the least human outcome data behind it.

Disagree.

discount_math_dm is right about the escalation being the variable. It explains most of the difficult reports here.

This. Decide in advance what you are watching for. Deciding in the middle of it is much harder.

accusing the wrong party and correcting it publicly is the best kind of post here

I would not treat appetite returning as a sign of doing it wrong. It is the expected sequence.

The standing caveat, written out properly because it keeps getting compressed into a footnote.

Disagree with this specific inference. A 48-week readout does not tell you the shape of the curve after it.

daily dosing, not weekly, so the exposure profile is different

comment on switched from 10mg to 15mg and nausea got better, not worse in c/retatrutide · 132 points · 2 years ago

Push back: quoting the phase 2 headline as an expected outcome is not a fair reading of a small trial with wide intervals.

Read the phase 2 paper twice before ordering anything. Recommend that to anyone in this board: the error bars are the interesting part.
