going up too fast is the most repeated regret on this board

if it is severe or persistent that is a clinician question, not a board question

Continuous monitoring shows the shape: postprandial excursions, overnight behaviour and time in range. Two people with identical A1c can have very different distributions.

Small fix — insulin secretion in this class is glucose-dependent, which is precisely why the risk you describe comes from the other agent.

Severe or persistent abdominal pain sits outside the pattern this board can usefully discuss. The honest answer there is that it needs someone who can examine you.

What does time in range look like, not just the average?

do not import US advice into an Australian thread

Agreed — the database rather than the coverage, every time.

Rang three pharmacies for a private price and got three different numbers, all in the same city.

Registration by the therapeutic goods regulator establishes that a product may be supplied.

This is the distinction that makes the rest of the board legible.

Assumed the New Zealand position applied here. It does not, and someone corrected me politely with the actual source.

That symptom is not the one being described upthread. Two different things with similar names and the answers are not interchangeable.

The effect on gastric emptying is most pronounced early and attenuates with continued dosing, which is the mechanism behind the "it settles at a stabl

rohan_steiner is right about the timing. The day-of-week pattern is the diagnostic bit, not the severity.

the first fortnight after a step is the worst of it, then it settles

Severe, or unpleasant? They are genuinely different questions and the answers diverge.

This. Correcting a wrong accusation in public is the hardest and most valuable post anybody makes here.

That A1c change is inside the assay’s variability and the interval you measured over is too short.

Someone posted US advice in an Australian thread and it took four replies to untangle it. Say your country.

Correcting myself: the readout I quoted was the 44-week interim rather than the endpoint.
