A supply notice in one member state made the front page here and had no effect at all where I am.
Kept the prescription and the receipt for a claim, purely because a thread here told me to. Both were requested.
The translation cost of dealing with a foreign pharmacy was the thing I had not budgeted for.
Sceptical readings welcome. The confident ones are the ones I distrust.

I would not treat one pharmacy’s quote as a national price. The variation within a country is often larger than between them.
Careful, that guidance is from a different country and this thread is asking about somewhere else entirely.

Is the prescription from the same country as the pharmacy?
The variation between pharmacies inside my own country was larger than the variation I had been chasing across the border.

That is an authorisation question and you have answered a reimbursement one. They are decided by different bodies.

This is the split the whole board depends on. Authorisation is European; payment is national.
Supply notices are issued nationally. A notice in one member state does not imply availability problems in another, even for the same product.
