triple agonist — GLP-1, GIP and glucagon, and the glucagon arm is the new part

That criterion is from the previous plan year. The current bulletin has different wording.

the wider-market names in the table are there because nobody has enough data on them

Sent the same compound from GGPeps and GGPeps to Medutest in the same month. Both came back above the claim on the certificate — mine was 99.3% on a stated 99.0%.

Independent testing is worth more than a supplied certificate for one structural reason: the chain of custody. A member who buys, ships and pays is testing the same thing you would receive.

comment on [Discussion] denial reason codes decoded, mostly fixable paperwork in c/insurancefights · 1 points · 16 days ago

Yes. Written, always, even when they tell you a phone call is sufficient.

comment on is it normal to get muscle cramps at week 85 in c/retatrutide · 60 points · 21 days ago

The injection-site soreness profile felt different rather than worse. Hard to describe and impossible to quantify, so take it as an impression.

A peer-to-peer conversation puts the prescribing clinician in front of a reviewing clinician. It bypasses the correspondence cycle entirely and is often the fastest available route.

comment on retatrutide is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/retatrutide · 12 points · 1 months ago

Cosigning the escalation point. Almost every difficult report on this board is from somebody who went up quickly.

permalink

comment on small win: dose escalation stopped being a problem at week 55 in c/retatrutide · 5 points · 1 months ago

the escalation is where most of the reported trouble sits

permalink

comment on the denial question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/insurancefights · 1 points · 2 months ago

What exactly does the denial letter give as the reason?

permalink

comment on three years of order records threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/vendorvetting · 64 points · 2 months ago

Not convinced by the ranking-by-vibe approach here. The community number is derived from reports; your feeling is derived from four posts you remember.

comment on anyone else notice glucagon kicking in around week 51 in c/retatrutide · 44 points · 2 months ago

Are you comparing against phase 3 numbers for something else? They are not comparable.

permalink

comment on [Lab] WWB tirz — Medutest came back 99.4% against a claimed 98.5% in c/vendorvetting · 2 points · 3 months ago

Small fix — the figure you quoted is the claimed purity from the certificate, and the independent result was the higher of the two.

permalink

comment on the VendorInvestigate question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/vendorvetting · 23 points · 3 months ago

Six orders across two years from SSA. Same packaging, same paperwork, same lead time. The most boring supplier relationship I have and I mean that as praise.

permalink

comment on the VendorInvestigate question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/vendorvetting · 77 points · 3 months ago

A certificate with a purity figure and no method line is not falsifiable. You cannot reproduce it, you cannot check it, and it tells you nothing about how the number was produced.

permalink

comment on [Question] the UK — has anyone got a straight answer on formulary in c/insurancefights · 195 points · 3 months ago

Yes. Written, always, even when they tell you a phone call is sufficient.

permalink

comment on the formulary thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/insurancefights · 150 points · 3 months ago

Prior authorisation criteria are republished each plan year. A criterion that blocked you in one year may not exist in the next, so a denial is worth retesting after the turnover.

permalink

comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for phase 2 posts in c/retatrutide · 63 points · 3 months ago

Careful with the rankings. A phase 2 result and a phase 3 result are not on the same evidential footing and cannot be listed in one table.

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify vendor in c/vendorvetting · 65 points · 3 months ago

The thing that decided it for me was that WXT answered a column-and-gradient question in writing without asking why I wanted to know.

permalink

comment on help me understand VendorInvestigate, I have read the wiki twice in c/vendorvetting · 1 points · 4 months ago

That is a report count, not a test count. The table lists both and they are very different numbers.

This is the whole method in one sentence.

permalink

Read the phase 2 paper twice before ordering anything. Recommend that to anyone in this board: the error bars are the interesting part.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] vendor is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/vendorvetting · 204 points · 5 months ago

Lead time and minimum quantity are the two facts people forget to ask for and then argue about later.

permalink

comment on does denial actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/insurancefights · 27 points · 6 months ago

Agreed. The denial letter tells you which criterion failed, and answering that specific criterion is the entire job.

Right, and it bears repeating that nothing here is approved anywhere and research material is not for human use.

not approved anywhere, which is the single most important fact in this board

comment on [Meta] the PeptideMeter rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/vendorvetting · 83 points · 11 months ago

Hunan GoodPeptides Biotech shows up in threads constantly and has almost nothing on file

permalink

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring TRIUMPH at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/retatrutide · 1 points · 11 months ago

Correction: TRIUMPH is the phase 3 programme. The number you are quoting is from the phase 2 readout, which is a different trial.

permalink

Prior authorisation criteria are republished each plan year. A criterion that blocked you in one year may not exist in the next, so a denial is worth retesting after the turnover.

comment on [Results] 4 weeks on 15mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/retatrutide · 45 points · 1 year ago

Small fix — three receptors, not two. GLP-1, GIP and glucagon, and the third one is the reason this compound gets its own board.

the glucagon component is why the metabolic story reads differently
