comment on [Results] 47 weeks, 15kg, and GIP was the hard part in c/tirzepatide · 7 points · 1 year ago
Did you come to this from sema, and if so how long was the gap?
comment on [Vendor] WXT order #15 — Germany, 12 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/coldchain · 28 points · 1 year ago
Gel packs are designed for a duty cycle. A liquid pack at the end of a longer-than-expected transit is a pack behaving as specified, not evidence of an excursion in the vial.
comment on [Question] Medutest — what am I missing here in c/vendorvetting · 8 points · 1 year ago
Disagree that reviews are worthless. They are worthless when they say "fast shipping A+++". A dated one naming a compound and a document is evidence.

the source page log is more useful than the score above it
Would qualify this slightly. Fewer entries means less sampling, and less sampling is not the same as a worse process.
comment on [Lab] HJ tirz — Janoshik came back 97.8% against a claimed 97.0% in c/vendorvetting · 20 points · 1 year ago
ask for the batch record before you ask for a discount
comment on [Lab] HJ tirz — Janoshik came back 97.8% against a claimed 97.0% in c/vendorvetting · 1 points · 1 year ago
Sent the same compound from SGN and GGPeps to Medutest in the same month. Both came back above the claim on the certificate — mine was 99.5% on a stated 99.0%.
comment on [Discussion] the GIP advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/tirzepatide · 186 points · 1 year ago
zepbound and mounjaro are the same compound with different labels
comment on [Question] New Zealand — has anyone got a straight answer on lyophilised in c/coldchain · 18 points · 2 years ago
a summer lane and a winter lane are different lanes
comment on [Discussion] order records are doing more work than we give it credit for in c/vendorvetting · 1 points · 2 years ago
Yes, and the reason the wider-market table has no scores is that a score built on two reports would be a lie with a decimal point.
comment on [Discussion] the Janoshik advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/vendorvetting · 235 points · 2 years ago
Agreed on buying small first. The cost of a test is small next to the cost of committing to a supplier you have not checked.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring appeal at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/insurancefights · 31 points · 2 years ago
external review exists and almost nobody uses it

appeal in writing even when they say a call is enough

What exactly does the denial letter give as the reason?
comment on [Vendor] QST vs WWB on the same compound, same month — both cleared 99.0% in c/tirzepatide · 88 points · 2 years ago
2.5 is the starter dose and it is not meant to be the dose that works
comment on [Vendor] GGPeps order #16 — Ireland, 13 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/coldchain · 116 points · 2 years ago
transit temperature is a distribution, not a number
comment on Spain: copay, and what it actually costs here in c/insurancefights · 6 points · 2 years ago
ask for the denial reason in writing, always
comment on [Meta] the tirzepatide rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 2 years ago
2.5mg is a four-week starting dose, not a maintenance dose. Worth being precise since people search these threads.
comment on [Meta] the tirzepatide rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 2 years ago
Disagree with the conversion table. There is no validated equivalence between the two molecules and posting one as though there is does real damage.
comment on tirzepatide: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/tirzepatide · 228 points · 2 years ago
SURMOUNT-1 ran 72 weeks with the top arm around 21% mean body weight change. SURPASS is the diabetes programme and reports glycaemic endpoints, so quoting the two interchangeably is a category error.

mechanism explains a direction, not a magnitude

Asked a question here that I thought was stupid and got three papers back. Best thread I have been in on this site.
comment on why does nobody talk about reship in c/vendorvetting · 61 points · 2 years ago
Regional stock made more difference to my planning than anything else — ordering from a warehouse in the UK took the customs question off the table entirely.
comment on why does nobody talk about reship in c/vendorvetting · 78 points · 2 years ago
Small fix — the figure you quoted is the claimed purity from the certificate, and the independent result was the higher of the two.
comment on why does nobody talk about reship in c/vendorvetting · -35 points · 2 years ago
Disagree that reviews are worthless.
Agreed — and the corollary is that "no data" and "bad data" have to be written differently. The table separates them for exactly that reason.
comment on data logger is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/coldchain · 19 points · 2 years ago
a warm gel pack tells you the pack failed, not that the material did
comment on [Question] Australia — has anyone got a straight answer on lyophilised in c/coldchain · 1 points · 2 years ago
the excursion that matters is the one after reconstitution
comment on [PSA] excursion is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/coldchain · 48 points · 2 years ago
Wrote the reconstitution date on the vial for the first time last year. Have never once since wondered how old a solution is.
comment on someone explain Medutest to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/vendorvetting · 95 points · 2 years ago
Kept a spreadsheet of quoted versus actual lead time across 6 orders. The quoted number held.
