comment on [Question] Sweden — has anyone got a straight answer on Apotheke in c/glp1eu · 34 points · 1 year ago

Cross-border prescription recognition exists under EU rules but is conditional and narrower than commonly assumed, with requirements about the prescri

This is the split the whole board depends on. Authorisation is European; payment is national.

That is the controversial ordering, not the hot one. Different formula, different behaviour.

That figure cannot be quoted to two decimals off that baseline. The precision is not in the data.

Sent the same vial to PeptideMeter and VendorInvestigate. 99.2% against a claimed 98.5%. The difference was the gradient, not the material.

Started reporting my own integrations with the baseline choice stated.

hazard_ratio_hal is right — the integration choice is a decision and it should be stated alongside the result.

a blank injection between samples costs four minutes and settles most arguments

UV response is not uniform across species. At 214nm you are looking at the peptide bond, which is why it is the working wavelength for this class; at 280nm you only see tryptophan, tyrosine and phenylalanine.

Yes. Pack sizes differ enough that per-month price comparisons across borders need to be normalised before they mean anything.

Nothing here is medical or legal advice, and eligibility questions have national answers that a pharmacist where you live can give you in minutes.

Careful — you have a plausible mechanism and no evidence that it is the operative one in the case you are describing.

GIP is the arm people argue about because the biology is genuinely unsettled

Yes. Retention time is a hypothesis about identity. Mass is the answer.

Carryover from a previous high-concentration injection looks exactly like a small impurity. The blank injection is four minutes and it removes the ambiguity entirely.

Cosigning on GIP. The genuinely interesting thing is that the biology is not settled and the clinical result is nonetheless robust.
