comment on [Lab] 2th independent test on BCH — 97.8% on a claimed 97.5%, and the trend is the interesting part in c/retatrutide · 251 points · 2 years ago

Glucagon receptor agonism is associated with increased energy expenditure and with hepatic effects.

employer_carveout is right about the escalation being the variable. It explains most of the difficult reports here.

Agreed. Two analysts, one trace, two integration choices, and a spread that has nothing to do with the vial.

two labs, two gradients, two honest answers

area percent is relative to what the detector saw and nothing else

Area percent is the integrated area of your peak over the total integrated area at one wavelength on one gradient.

Adding one practical thing — run the blank. It answers this before anyone has to argue about it.

What wavelength, and what was the gradient?

How long was the stall before you decided it was a stall?

Is that baseline drawn by the software or by hand?

chain_confirm_c is right — the integration choice is a decision and it should be stated alongside the result.

Yes — the comparison threads are apples to oranges and they generate more heat than anything else here.

Yes — and the honest version is that most of the "it stopped working" posts turn out to be a normal fortnight of water weight.
